I wanted to them in a romance drama since I watched Awaken in 2020. I agree they have the on-screen chemistry.

but I don't want Chung Ah here TT. since NMG has more chemistry with LCA than AEJ there is possibility people want to see them together rather than Gilchae. which can fuel gilchae's hate train. She is wonderful character. so I don't want them to destroy character growth or story just because people like chung ah with MMG more

I was frustrated since I don't get to see what happening in next week again I was so overwhelmed.

after my initial rush settled down, I'm glad part 2 starts on october. I don't think I can manage otherwise. This drama didn't leave my mind since it's been started airing. SO glad I didnt have to deal with this for a months :)

Ok after rewatching ep 10, I think they will meet again on friendly terms.

Cause In Ep 1 ending scene where Gil chae was on the swing, Gil chae and Janghyun both narrated there.

GC: Remeber I aked one day what did think when you saw me for the first time. and you said
Janhyun: I heard the sound of flowers

Just like in Ep 1 swing scene, Gilchae narrates at the end of ep 10

"I asked you when you resent me. and you said it was when you were leaving for good. that you wanted to hate me but couldn't. that made you hate yourself even more"

so maybe there's a hope for them. I was fully preparing myself seeing them different partners. I'm going to hang on the little hope I have. oh bless me

Im so heart broken right now. My dearest part 1 dethroned Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in ANGST officially. Gosh. that how intense the drama is.

As sad it is I don't mind Janghyun finds love in someone else and same goes for Gil-chae. These characters so humane and they deserve happiness even they're not together

It wasn't directly mentioned. but the baby she delivered not a baby anymore looked about 3. you haven't noticed that? officer proposed her after 3 years. yet she was thinking about Janghyun. with the final push from her sister gilchae realized it is time her to move on

People can say whatever about her. She let Janghyun go because of her sense of responsibility of her family. not because she doesn't love him. and that f^cking hard. There were no love loss just different interests at the moment.

in ep 10 Gilchae reminds me of my self. I had to let go my boyfriend because he was moving out of the country. It was his dream, traveling around settle down somewhere else. While I have parents in their 70, both of them are not well. He proposed but if I get married to him I have to move permanently. I just couldn't leave my parents. I chose family over love I know im ranting. its just broke my heart so much I needed to let it out.

she took 3 freaking years before agreeing to marry

umm ok? it's 10 for me. and its not relevant to what i said now.

I quiet don't understand if you watch properly why other people have to tell you what's happened.

1. you didn't know why everyone thought Janghyun is dead

2. you didn't how many years passed in the drama

3. you clearly didn't know that official wasn't a random dude

4 you failed to understand until janghyun was about to got qing he did NOT tell her, he actually loves her and want to marry

5. It was a custom to send dead's belonging to their country. They send some belonging . cause Qing is far away if they send the bodies they would be rotten. It is same every family. (belonging were his fan and her ribbon)

6. it does not matter how you do things in 2023. The drama is set in
1600 in korea.

7. Janghyun himself multiple times he was with dozens women before.

All these points makes me want ask 'were you watching with your eyes closed?'

after reading whole thread of comments, I came to a conclusion that you watched the show here and there. Like how the heck you missed all information and clues otherwise

Gil Chae is the woman we were dying to see on screen. after reading some comments I realize people doesn't want to see a woman like her loath her in the drama as well as in real life. and I thought we made a progress and the society supports women now. I guess it just a wishful thinking

if you want to ignore whole drama and just focus on janghyun's heart, yes its better you drop this NOW

those people would be like 'oh im so mad at gilchae, how could she do that to our janghyun' or "im going to drop this if she doesnt love him back right away"

i'm so mad at those people. it's like they don't watch the drama properly or completly ignore Gilchae's hardships and as a human with feelings

3-4 Years. they didn't specifically mention but Eun Ae's servant's child has grown up. He eats meat and he looks about 4 years

it's been 3 or 4 years since Janghyun's supposed death. How long do you want Gilchae to wait??

If Gil-chae got married to that officer, she only does that because of her family. Her father is ill, recovery is not likely. She has younger brother and a sister. Gil-chae needs to find her a husband and have social standing. Only way of achieve that is marrying someone since this is 1600s not 2023. hence she had done more than enough to survive. Her sister pushed her to accept that Janghyun is dead.

she's the one who provided food, shelter and got Yeon Jun out of prison withstanding all the rumors blasphemy. People in the comment section are rivals to those in the drama. Refusing see what she has been through as a woman what she had to do for survival and hating her. I wonder if she is a MAN people would still bash like this.

so what if she marries someone she trusts. Gilchae have been constantly working hard so what if she wants to rest now. on top of that she doesn't know Janghyun is alive. but she's still pining for him grieving for him and it has been freaking 3 YEARS in the drama. So she deserves to move on.

the only problem is Janghyun alive. He haven't send her even one letter. May be he did but Ryang Eum got rid of them? Just like how Ryung Eum didn't inform Gilchae, Janghyun's return. May be that's why Janghyun was harsh on Gil chae.

but I don't really like how Janghyun talks to her in general. If he is not teasing her he's insulting her . like bruh that's not how you win a lady's heart. He protects her from others but doesn't know how to protect her from his words.

That's what happened in ep 8 too. Gil-chae went to meet Janghyun to tell he has her heart. but Janghyun had to insult her right off the bat before she even get a word out.

If she is married to the officer guy I highly doubt Gilchae will elope with Janghyun. She cannot leave her family behind. If she does that who will run the business and take care of her family? soft hearted eun ae? good for nothing yeonjun?
