This was very enjoyable! I loved the main characters and supporting cast. All of them were very loveable. The FML was actually strong (bonus points for her not having a shitty family). The chemistry and acting was good. The ending was rushed and there were some plot holes otherwise it would have been a 10/10

24 episodes is too short for a costume drama but maybe it's very fast paced with no long arcs and useless characters

This is surprisingly very good. The pacing is perfect. I am not getting bored at all. Also, I didn't get the Cheng Lei hype before but I do now. He's very charming here

Exactly! I love her and she might be among my favourite female leads of all time. MDL is full of misogynistic users. They hate when the FL stands for herself and is not a pathetic pushover who worships her lowlife parents

Finally finished it but had to skim a lot. The female lead is amazing and the family dynamics are entertaining after the character development (the first ten episodes are absolutely annoying though). This is one of the few times when I felt that the romance was unnecessary. I couldn't bring myself to like the ML. Plus, the actor playing him has only two expressions. In fact, I preferred the SML by far. Overall, still a decent watch

There's no rebirth plot. They removed it already which I'm happy about because all these rebirth plots are getting repetitive. Seems like they borrowed things from both the first and second life to form a coherent storyline which means there's room for a lot of organic character development
