Solely following his dramas as an actor is one thing but seeing him in the variety show 2 Days 1 Night for the past 2 years made realize that he sure is a good guy. In a program like that where 90% of things are improvised and natural reactions you can see that he is a kind hearted and warm person as everyone who worked with him also stated. To be honest even if there is no romance it's still such a masterpiece. Romance not being the focus is what makes this drama so unique. I mean the writer is known to not focus on the romance in his previous works as well so it's ok :)
I feel like those little sweet moments between the leads are perfect as romance is not the main focus of the drama. There is a natural flow and more space for their character development/relationship and it doesn't seem forced. The slow burn theme is everything.
