And I agree for brainwashed girls but a little bit experienced women might differ. Well , I really do not know the manhwa but what you said about moral code makes sense. Still I would like to believe women of that time has some forbidden pleasures too as a woman myself , I have watched some historical dramas when women couldn’t conceive they slept with their slaves , may be then also they were doing it just for fun too ( well not fair to slaves but nothing is fair ) :) and for male lead here I think that one night stand is just his excuse to corner her, it seemed to me he thinks this girl is the one for him, because she said I know and blah… before bedding him , also may be because she said all those things he let her do whatever she wanted , he is pretty cunning I guess …and I agree he is taking advantage of one night stand and forcing her , well for me it is fun and for the male courtesan drama I would like to watch it , sounds fun :)

Well usually I find it hard to believe when any male ( lead or second lead usually) in historical dramas refuse beauties, I mean they are young and full of hormones lol:) may be in ancient times people have much more restraint but still puberty ( they are usually in late teens or early twenties ) hormones are still hormones I guess :)

I didn’t perceive as bad light actually, seems to me she knows she is in a novel and acts like that, like watching drama I like Ml but usually had a second ml syndrome :)

Yes he would be or both child and mother would be in grave danger , BJS asked that Yu Ya for child and she said better not have it. And I am not meaning informing father when in mortal realm but before resurrecting when she sealed BJS, She was right to not trusting him, but before sealing him she might as well told him they had a child and this happened and sealed him anyways, ( in that case BJS even breaking free from seal wouldn’t messed last hope of the child’s) and I think by sealing her powers in mortal realm BJS was trying to protect her from that heavenly envoy and bunch behind that envoy, so there might be huge misunderstanding there, otherwise BJS seem to me too much in love to hurt Ruyue , so I am guessing we will see if it is so or not … it is not I am blaming FL ,but after so many revenge schemes against ML , he is still so much in love nd gives in so it is hard to believe he just did what he did because of selfishness and protect his seat in gods …

Well I get that but she never let BaiJuiSi know about the child, praying in temple doesn’t let BaiJuiSi to know about child , he was in the dark, may be like her mortal shifu said if she told BaiJuiSi , he would help her because he was also his child, well if they spoke and solve everything we wouldn’t have drama to watch … but I would may be prefer a dramatic change in her and go against whole realms and be a evil goddess lol… she only blaming BaiJuiSi is a little off for me, there were too many factors leading her child’s death . Yes final blow unknowingly came from his father and she only resents him… and as I understand if her powers hasn’t sealed when she Was pregnant baby would harm her in mortal world… we will see how they will wrap up things but in my view she has become too narrow minded with hatred

I am on ep.23 and yes BaiJuiSi May be left her but she was also at fault and Why Does She not hate humans more after all she has done done to protect them they tried to kill them and bully her child…. I guess after all suffering she needs a target and that’s Baijuisi …

I would like to read it too but there is no English version which I could find, and to be honest for Ning I would like her more if there was a different voice (I don’t know if it is her own voice or voice actress) , and I have read in the comments in the book she is much smarter and shrewd and only acting like spoiled child cuz she is afraid of chieftain, in my opinion this portrayal of Ning not fitted the description other that actually as you said she is young and no experience that is true , may be I just wanted to see a strong female

I can not see Ning genuinely care for people , dont know the book but I am on ep.18 and they plan to turn Yz refugees into soldiers regardless they want it or not, as far as I understand from Yz they are people live by their professions and nature and not like to wage wars nor expand territory etc. , mostly for chieftains name in history they plan to wage war, and Ning did not say anything about that , she must know that a lot of them will die in the war…… they are not defending they are attacking other families, they may as well strengthen their defenses and fill their treasury and get ready in 5 years to defend but no… she is raised by her father and mostly by that calculating sinister chieftain so I guess apple not fall far from tree, also may be she is well invented but ignorance doesn’t make her blameless if she is to be a ruler , it is her responsibility after all. Well so far my favorite is Zx also, and I like Liu Feng Shuang too. And a I agree it is how the real world works , may be even more brutally.

İ dont like the idea Yz back to Xichuan , they should be free not Xichuan’s colony to exploit, İI don’t beleive that all corrupt Xichuan higher ups let Yz stand equal standing. I also find Zx idea to add Yz again to Xichuan kind of backstabbing , as budan elder Said predecessors of Zx ( his foster father) Also Said he will give Yz freedom and conned them. I also don’t like Ning and Xichuan at all , especially chieftain , all these 3 brothers blind loyality to this selfish and manipulative chieftain irritates me.

İ would go for Xiu , he is fun an smart but agree with pjsleep some stability would be good.
