honestly, with how quickly ai has been developing, the fact that it has been done in the past, how promising it looks plus it has great cast, I just hope they cgi replace ml's face and finally release it
I was really confused by the 2 different actors playing ML, to me they look and behave almost nothing alike.
At first I thought he was his older brother or something. And even after I found out that it was supposedly “younger him” I had to remind myself who he was each time he appeared on the screen. Both actors look roughly the same age so it’s difficult for me to view one as the younger version.
The site I'm watching it on has all 6 episodes so yes, I guess? The final air date probably wasn't updated because…
seeing current rating plus the fact that I'm in kdrama slump I think I will pass but thanks so much for letting me know even though so much time has passed!
It’s not like the drama doesn’t have the room for improvement but I can’t see the remake being better or at least on the same level as the original so I’m worried
WTH?! Have you never had a job?? You can't withhold a paycheck for that. If companies could do that, they'd be…
So it’s better to fire actors on the spot, bury countless dramas and make everyone else who worked hard on the project go unrewarded? And is it really that unreasonable to hold someone temporarily responsible for causing harm to the company project and thus wasting company’s money? Nothing is foolproof anyway, there are thousands of loopholes in the law but that doesn’t mean it’s better not to try improve the situation and leave it as it is. And again, my main concern is regular employees who need the project to be profitable.
I honestly think that in the case of scandals dramas shouldn’t be thrown into production dungeon\postponed. Act according to the schedule so the people who took part in the project won’t get implicated BUT hold back the person involved in the scandal from events, promotions and paycheck until it gets resolved. This way the drama shouldn’t be boycotted as much since the accused isn’t able to profit from it unless proved innocent. Of course, for that to happen there need to be such contracts signed beforehand. Idk how good of an idea this is and I’m aware it could backfire but I still think a variation of this is in everyone’s best interest as many dramas are held back for years (esp in China) because of such issues and regular employees and small actors suffer.
I see mixed rections to the drama in the comment section, so can someone kindly tell me if it's worth watching…
It’s all action and shaky camera work. Plot didn’t progress much however the episodes felt short because a) gripping action and b) novelty. Preview suggests change and so these two episodes are more like a set up for the rest of the drama. Overall I enjoyed it very much ^^
I don't have much of a good feeling about this. It might hinder/change the plot of S1 drastically. Not sure what…
Well, to my knowledge the webtoon is still ongoing so there's a lot of space for season 2. Some new (webtoon) episodes could be incorporated into second season and those that are already out could be explored in much more detail instead of squishing it all into 16 episodes. But that's in the ideallistic world.
Btw, Idk why they almost never wait until source webtoon/novel/manga etc is completed before adapting it.
I've checked out the series on Douban and it's written there it's gonna air in 2022 so we're just skipping 2021 I guess... Not happy about that. On the other hand I don't trust any date I see in cdramaland cuz it's a hot mess. Also, this was suppoused to be 70 episodes so Idk what will they do now. English wikipedia says 40 (and only 1 season) while chinese wikipedia and baidu says 68 which is obviously still way over the limit. Hopefully when this finally sees the light of the day they'll just split it into 2 seasons and air them one after another.
Did they remove werewolf elements? I see it's still in the tags but something in the drama makes me feel like they got rid of it. I'm only at the very beginning, tho.
3 years... I'm not sure if I'll enjoy it at this point. I still love the same themes but my overall taste is changing. Would be sad to waste all this time for something younger me would have LOVED but I find it just meh ;///

I'm all for it!
