I guess there are really watchers/readers like you who didn't see anything compelling unless the characters is…
I cannot admit anything about the writing itself..... I never learn the criterias that made a writing bad or good, and... like Woo, I cannot manage to elavuate without be told there criterias.
What I can say is that the story was visibly 100% about Woo. And, they wanted to write a "slide of life" where an autism life a possible life. So, they could not put situation where super power are use or unatural level of evil. Since the start, the "evil" was the mother and it eliminate the possibility to have an evil case that occupy all the last episodes. The "slide of life" aspect mainly also eliminate that possibility.
Most big case would have shift off the focus from Woo. Even more since she just start at her job and NEED to learn experience, so her superior need to see more knowlegable in a way that her.

But, I do feel it does miss something in the developpement of most side character. And that the story would have gain to have a little more scene without Woo at the middle to see the other.

lol, Lee Joon Ho does too. It's visible by the simple fact that he got friends and his popular with girls. It's absolutely obvious things happen to him. We just didn't get the chance to see them. They just show the part of his life about Woo and I do agree it's a flaw to not have be expose more to the rest of his life.
They explore more, in place, how Jung Myung Seok life parallel Woo life.

You cannot say a story is bad just because the ML is a secondary character. He had visibly his onw life, but we could not see it and it's normal to be a little sad about it. But.... it will not change the fact that it's a flaw in a secondary story line. It sould not affect that much your oppinion on the main story.
Also... I'm new with the "greenflags" things, but I already hate it. Soon like a new way to insulte character that are not toxic.

Being on the spectrum myself, I was both looking forward to watching it but also worried on how Autism would be…
I do feel the romance was even more needed BECAUSE she was on the spectrum. It's help show how Autism are normal human that can have good romantic storyline. It also give a opportunity to show a love story in a untypical way. I really like how the ML had go for a relation with a lot of communication and did it so well. Healthy couple that deal well the difficulty they meet, that inspiring with and without Autism.
It also help a lot to learn more about Woo and her way to interact with the world, and more element about Autism.

Also.... You sound a lot like the mom of the Autism boy in the first half of the series. Yes, I'm not surprise Woo didn't have an Autism similar at yours or your son. She didn't had one similar to my brother or me either. BUT her brain had the rigidity typical of any Autism person. I could also relate hard with her at an emotionel level. I mean, she is happy in the same way I'm happy, she is in there work the same way I'm in mine, her moment of confusion are so reliable.

I don't know if her seeing dolphin everytime she had inspiration is reliable for any Autism, that deffinitely the part I'm less knowlegable. But... it was a very important part of the show to make people understand the big feeling that come with having a realisation. And, that feeling is really really really big. So, I do feel it was a perfect choice.

If you like this drama, share it to the people in your circle. Re-watch it again and again until you are satisfied.…
In story, it's normally good new when character evolve and it generraly happen because of people they meet. So, I would say it was nice to see Kwon Min Woo change his way to deal thing. And it was not just because he was in love. He change in big part because of the task Tae Soo Mi give him. He had to put action to make Woo quit, and it made him connect a little better to Woo. Also, overall, he was in a good evironnement, so, it's normal that he slowly became less toxic.
So, I disagree with you. You cannot say he only change "because of love".
I would also add, he didn't change his way to see the world. And didn't got a totally new way of thinking. He just learn to, sometime, let it go. He learn to be a little more flexible in moment and situation where most people would be flexible. So, it's even in his adventage, so another good reason why he would had go that way.

I miss them already and I'm sad that the rating is not getting higher
I'm confuse, 8.7 is a really good rating on MDL. Didn't see any prob there. When I saw the rating I though "Ah, this drama was appreciate" and feel happy since I also really like it.

They did, though? Two months before the movie was released, they uploaded a video on their youtube that basically…
On my side, I'm hoping it will soon after the last episode release, all be on Gagaoolala. I already have other series I like on that plateform and I'm sure I will have the version with English sub.

No yet, it's on my watch-list because a friend told me I should watch it. Didn't know anything about it yet. So, it had an intersex representation? :O I absolutely have to watch it. Thanks :) It's now in my new priority ^-^ And, hopefully they will do a really better representation that here.

Transgender and intersex are two different things. Regardless of this, they didn't really explore this aspect…
I'm pretty sure they say in the movie she had XY chromozone. So, she "is a boy that not react to male hormones". It explaine why she continue to look girlish after the surgery.
But, I do suspect the morning boner is not something that would be possible/was totally made up. I have to say, I don't remember perfectly what I learn on that question last year.
Anyway, totally agree, the mess up big with the intersex aspect.

Yes, I also believe she was a girl form the start to the end, but I don't think it's a reason to put out a possibility of trans element.
The need of her parent to have her physique match her chromozone is also aline with trans reality.
You can say she was a man at birth because of chromozone, BUT she is a girl as a person and had the chance to live as one for the first part of her life.
So, it's not an usual situation for a trans, but it deffinitly can be see as a trans case.
Anyway, the fact you didn't saw the trans element explain a little why the movie seem to not be aware of that aspect of themself.

The lead decide to took her own life at this end? Omg, the story is even worse then (I didn't watch the last five min, so I didn't know). Yes, the chemistry was really good. It's why I like so much most of the movie.
Yes, trans and intersex are different thing. None the least, they were both bad represented in this movie, but the trans aspect is the worse.

I just can't get over CYJ suddenly deciding to terminate her pregnancy after taking advice from her ex that she…
Defended the pregnant colleague? I'm pretty sure she didn't. She was just hell scare by the futur her colleague describe. She were just drescribe how close to have all her life crush by a baby and how she will pass form having her own colonne to a nobody without a career. Then, she saw how much her lover is not ready to be a father and it scare her even more. The ex did mostly nothing. 80% of the responsability go to the colleague and it's important to realize, because... her colleague represent so many man in Korean society. In a way, she was scared and decide to terminate her pregnancy "because of society". There is the take away from the series. Putting all the responsabily to the last one to send a rock (the ex) is missing the point and prevent to be able to resolve the real problem.

The intro is more about the main couple... For the advertising, I don't think the official one are miss leading [the one I could find where all about the two leads, but I do remember seeing one about the BL one somewhere in June]. They can do nothing about the algorithme showing more the part about the BL couple to people interested by BL.
And... it's not on them the fact that people tend to create more unofficial content about the BL couple.

Also, I don't think the drama is near to be trash. I feel you talk this way beause you wanted a BL and are sad this series is not.
And... your reaction don't help the LGBTQ since you are asking to keep them exclusively in drama where they are the only lead.

Title Love Is Science? Spoiler
Hi everyone,I also wanted to comment on the "I only like you, no other guys" issue.I take it as someone being…
I do feel he will end up bi, but... I don't think we will learn officially in the serie. Mark just don't care enough right now to label himself. And... it's a valide decision.
I do like having him saying he doesn't know yet (so better that old sentence "I only like you, no other guys"). Even though it would have be nice to have him saying he's bi.
But... since at the beginning, he was scared of a gay... it make more sens to have him not knowing LGBTQ label outside of "gay". By the way... he never say "I only like you, no other guys", but more normal sentence for a guy new with this other part of him :
"I don't know if I'm gay. I just know the person I love is Ou Wen." [so, maybe bi ;) ]
"Even I don't know if I am really what I am. I do like you, but I don't like all the men in the world." [so, not "just Ou Wen" ;) and... Mark is sill confuse about gay not automatically liking all man. Not a good point on him, but far form the cliché.]

Title Love Is Science? Spoiler
Everyone's story is going in the right direction. I am enjoying all the stories equally and I hope we get older…
I didn't know they show the part "I'm not gay, I only like you" in the preview. Fortunately, the actual scene is fine. Mark just don't have yet figure out his orientation/his not sure about the good label to use. And, with his personnality, he just doesn't feel the need to find the answer just now.
So, he's at a valid place AND we don't have a real case of "I'm not gay, I only like you" ^-^
