Dropped: Just to Meet You
I went into this hoping for a "fever dream" experience similar to Affinity, but it was an amateurish mess that failed to deliver on every front. After 11 episodes of struggle, I’m officially calling it quits.
The Breakdown:
Chemistry: There is plenty of physical intimacy, but it feels entirely mechanical. It lacks the earned tension required to make the romance believable.
Pacing: The narrative is pure, disjointed chaos. Plot points are resolved with such jarring speed that they lack all emotional weight or logic.
Writing: The script leans into bizarre absurdity rather than compelling suspense, making the plot impossible to take seriously.
Acting: The performances are largely inconsistent—particularly among the supporting cast—which makes the show difficult to watch.
