They cut so much shit, we had to guess ourselves to feel better about all the plot holes. 🤣

Sad but opening with a glimmer of hope. Lots of bromance, sismance, deep friendships and romance between main couple (super subtle tho). You’ll want to ship everyone with everyone lol Even the hot, tree demon villain can be shipped with the team. Please watch!!!

I believe it was in the earlier episodes where they talked about the two sword. I think ep one was where ZhuYan said it’ll take more than one sword to kill him (it’s why I always assumed they would need two to end him).

lol right? I always thought they’ll need two swords to kill ZhuYan since one can’t.

I’m still upset about some of the deaths. But I’ve come to terms with that each person chose their own path, their own death to save one that will also make their own big decisions later.

A cause and effect. YingLei’s death brought XiaoBai back, in return XiaoBai was there to stop his Master’s crazy plan of eternal resurrection, thus saving his idol/big bro XiaoZhuo and the others. LiLun getting his second chance to be there and help his friend fight and protect their beloved Dahuang, protecting ZhuYan and XiaoZhuo so they can later….saved the world with ZhuYun’s rain and WenXiao’s tears. A’Heng was already dead, the puppet was his container so with it broken there was no more container to house his soul.

ZhuYan lost a lot of his demonic powers when they took the ever burning wood powers from him to fix the sword and to give to mask dude in hopes of an antitode. So he was super weak compare to everyone else, almost human weak.

To me all the deaths happened so the trio (ZhuYan, WenXiao and XiaoZhuo) can complete their heart breaking destiny/fate they knew from the start they can’t escape. XiaoZhuo killing his new found best friend/brother. ZhuYan dying to saved his beloved, friend and the world. WenXiao using her unending tears mixed with her beloved’s rain to save the world.

I believe lots of scenes were cut when the finalization came. I’m sure lots of romance between main couple was super cut off from snippets of vids and pics posted about. I’m betting they cut off the team mourning YingLei, the team all welcoming XiaoBai’s return etc. Terrible editing for sure.

His death was the most nonsensical thing ever. They had LiLun’s damn twig. They could’ve shoved that twig in his face! But nope. They gotta fight and get YingLei killed. It was the first time I despised the whole team. They failed my cinnamon roll. He’s always trying his best for the team. From cleansing that water for the token, to info about AoYin, to let’s used XiaoBai’s blood to get the divine tree and getting herbs for XiaoZhuo.
