I’ve noticed some are upset WenXiao didn’t seal LiLun, YingLei lay around, SiJing and AHeng went chasing for their bow. WenXiao and ZhuYan pouring their hearts out to each other with looks and tears….while XiaoZhuo is getting beat up.
Uh….yall should know by now ZhuYan has been suffering, all wanted to help him. Now he’s saved and now it’s XiaoZhuo’s turn to suffer so our hearts will cry for him after we cried for ZhuYan. It’s XiaoZhuo’s turn to be suffering and to shine. It’s now going to be his story part. And when I said shine I mean how he’ll pull through with the team’s help, and his resolve. XiaoZhuo needed to go out like that to leave an impression/impact on us and looks like it worked cuz some are pissed no one helped him lol

Did y’all want our screen to be split into two, one side has XiaoZhuo fighting LiLun and the other side has the couple together? Both scenes most likely took place at the same time but who would want to look at a split screen to understand that? So of course one scene gotta be played before the other scene is shown to us.
LiLun is an antagonist so having him defeated so easily again will kill his role in the drama. The drama would end lol They gotta drag it out even if he’s not the main antagonist. ZhuYan and WenXiao didn’t just stand around talking to LiLun, the two stood in front of XiaoZhuo and YingLei in case LiLun attacks.
Anyone see WenXiao’s tears when XiaoZhuo in preview took her by the neck? She must’ve been so shocked XiaoZhuo who is always so gentle and protective of her would do such a thing. Girl can’t get a break, first ZhuYan breaking her heart, now XiaoZhuo. Her tears are gonna be never ending.
The team can’t ever get a break. That fire, sword/umbrella dance was certainly their last fun and peaceful time together as a whole.

For me it’s when they found the other half of the token. Before that she was constantly flirting with him and him back to her. All their time together were hints of their attraction to each other but they never took that one last step forward. Lol their attempt with that one step in the latest episode was a fail but you can see and tell their feelings were conveyed with just the slightest touches and gentle words of exchange.
The way Zhu Yan thought that the Wen Xiao right in front of him was his own imagination is heartbreaking to hear…
It was beautifully done. We don’t need the typical smashing lips roughly together to get the longing and love main leads feel towards each other. This scene had more impact than any other love/confession scenes I’ve seen.
I’m rewatching the sweet scene over and over. 🤍 Her eyes and her tears kept coming down at the right moments and his slight facial expressions to his eyes…His fear that it was just a dream, his imagination again…💔

Their chemistry was lit since day one, episode one. Lol I feel many are just projecting her crazy role from TTEOTM to all her new characters, hating her cuz of that one role she nailed perfectly as a villainess. I actually prefer watching actors and actresses that can play main lead and villain/villainess roles. It shows how talented and versatile they are.
Each dramas have their own strong and weak points. You’ll just have to watch a few episodes to get a feel yourself. Everyone has their own taste in dramas. There’s no need to try and compare.
They broke our hearts, made us excited and happy and then broke our hearts AGAIN. Director and script writers be the worst enemies ever.
I don’t care what anyone says. When will LiLun just di—Joking! I just needed to rant but I still love him. I get the feeling he dies saving ZhuYan and XiaoZhuo. I saw a pic of the 3 together, looking like they’re going to face an even more evil entity as a team. The real evil is definitely the crazy doc and maybe the king we only heard about.
