Rewatching made me realized…I need some sweet, laugher scenes. No more tears. 😌 C’mon next ep, don’t disappoint. It’s like the fire and sword dance scene is the last time they laughed and have fun together, the calm before the storm.

There was also something about an ancient flood that fell the gods, causing the mortal and demon realm to fall into chaos. It’s prob why no other gods are mentioned, they’re still recovering. lol

I loved how poised she was. She walks through the door to him and suddenly looks like the two are having tea together. lol

I hope he gets more screen time. I like to go rewatch him being all sad as he piles his treasures on the ground for them lol It’s the cutest.

Goddess Baize should totally come and be like “here, here’s ZhuYan.” And give us the HE we want. lol

Let’s talk about YingLei! No one talks about him. He’s such a precious cinnamon roll! No, not the Sanrio but the yummy dough bread with sweet sugary cream on top. 🤣 I thought XiaoBai was precious but then comes YingLei. His innocence, his pouts when his love isn’t reciprocated lol 🤍🤍 When WenXiao saw him without his beard I was screaming what a manly, handsome one!! Then…the goofy smile—🤣 It’s okay, he’s still handsome. Did yall see him flinching when his gramps brought out his stick (to smack ZhuYan), bet he got beat up often before with it lol And him not being studious in the preview almost ended him from the cloud light sword! Lol you’ll think he’s older than the others except ZhuYan, he’ll know his own home and the stars there.

I’m so excited he’s back! Seeing him trying to be all grow up and mature was sad…

She can’t fight but she has her own wits and strength about her. Lol Their team balance out nicely between them all.

To those upset at how weak the Baize Goddesses are….Again, like some and myself said before, they’re just mortals. lol So they’re not immortals and will die from any injuries. The real Goddess Baize said so herself that she was ordered by White Emperor Shaohao to rule the demons in the Wilderness and protect all beings. She’s a celestial beast and an immortal so she was willing to sacrifice herself and transform into the power of Baize to be passed on to the world. She picks someone pure to hold her powers, not someone that can fight and be op; someone that can understand not just the mortals but the demons too. So the real Goddess Baize herself is the token itself. lol For sure we will see Goddess Baize herself later on.

I thought of that too but then realized he prob doesn’t want to be alone. Demons, gods and immortals live so long that being alone would be the most torturous and lonely path. Unless you’re a psycho—LiLun is crazy but not crazy crazy that even he would rather die than be sealed away alone.

Yes! Their little time together gives off this gentle, serene feeling like it’s just their own little world with just the two of them and there’s no need to worry about all the chaos around them. The music makes it even better, romantic and heart touching with an underlying subtle sadness, foreshadowing what’s to come.

It’s very sad ZhuYan is not treated fairly. He does so much for the group, yet not all appreciate him. Not enough thanks/sorry in word or action. He’s such a beautiful, tragic soul.

As much as many of us ship ZhuYan with others, deep down we know only one can truly heal his broken heart/soul and make him want to truly live. He wanted to live after wanting to die but it was cut down, so he needs to want to live once again.

I wanna rage each episode that doesn’t have the heart to heart talk between the main couple. Seriously!! Gimme—😔 I know WenXiao isn’t the strongest and depends on the others a lot but we can’t deny that she is the one, his one that he yearns for. He got his friendship with the others but for WenXiao he yearns for something more, something he never felt before.

lol Yinglei!!! Glad he’s back. The preview was so funny. His poor heart broke upon XiaoZhuo’s word of his knife being from any stall and XiaoBai telling his fav only to be careful. 🤣

We are due for a talk and sweet scene between our main leads. 😕 C’mon WenXiao, luv ZhuYan. Why you gotta break him again by being more excited to see SiJing? 🤣 The look on his poor face, realizing he got even more competition was awesome.

That speech from XiaoZhuo to XiaoBai about the sea of suffering is endless, as long as you return to the shore, you’ll be greeted by the brilliant sunset definitely struck a cord in ZhuYan. It sounds just like ZhuYan’s character theme song. No matter what, my heart always goes out to ZhuYan despite others suffering too, his is just beyond imagination…He’s labeled as an evil, cruel demon just cuz he’s the vessel for miasma, gets control by it…he doesn’t want any of that but fate is cruel. 😭 When will he be allowed to set foot ashore and meet his own bright ray of light to embrace his broken soul?
