In the beginning as when he didn’t know her identity. In my views it’s the bare minimum, saying he cares for her, will protect her. He didn’t do nothing really special like relive their memories, make her feel special, apologize to her for how he treated her before and even not picking her up from the jade place. I feel like he spent so long searching for her but once found..yea. Nian is a good character I was just disappointed in her for a little. Yeah now I see how she grew up spoiled I forgot we had the main lead pampering her as well

There’s a couple of things I wanna say, don’t come after me haha. Out of all the guys the one I like the least and hope she doesn’t end up with is the childhood friend. Why? It’s simple, cause he treated her bad in the beginning. And after finding out who she was he treated her with the bare minimum. Lame. I rather have Ye Shiqi or the demon any day. Nian is annoying sometimes, what really made me mad was when she didn’t accept the female lead as her sister (I’m on ep 18 rn idk if she does in the future). Nian’s mother is from the countryside didnt people gossip about that and stuff like they usually do in cdramas? Like she should be like Ye Shiqi’s brother and not some spoiled brat thinking she can get whatever

Two thinks that would have made it better is, when it shows a guys ideal type instead of showing the female lead in a different costume it should show a whole different person. It would make the main lead falling for her and seeing her as his ideal type so good. And the plot line where he is becoming the ceo just to find the cufflink owner is dumb ngl
