I feel like I focused on different things that most people when it came to this episode. Sure, the parts where…
But in the world of the mature and healthy minds, you tell your new partner "hey my family is shit we will take you down I can never be happy because I come from shit. You still want some of this". So eh, even if mafia is after him, his parents are, they threatened him, no excuse for the note and giving no signs of life for a year. Plus the dude went home! What a plot hole. Took SJ a year to find someone back in their hometown what?
I know we’re gonna understand Ji Woo more and why he keeps being so cold towards Seo Joon, but it’s breaking…
I don't know where you live but there are zero gays I can think of that would allow this treatment. One year relationship is LONG and if a dude like JW pulled that he'd never get the chase again. But as you said none of it is real although Professor Writer has some message we all apparently must be taught lol yes I'm salty AF #NotMyStarYet
Just one other comment about this before next week. Every BL that has tried to create a one year or longer separation…
Agreed!!! AlL that money could have gone to show them navigate coming out and living life. Use it as a positive example to a gay couple in SK. For the writer to be funded to be so cruel to fans with no warning is an outrage. You can't hijack fluff fandom to this. It's wrong. I suspect there will be thousands of fans writing goodbye letters starting with "to my star" as well.
I am convinced the title "to my star" is the start of a letter. Either a schuicide note, a final goodbye letter or an obituary. In no sane mind should SJ accept this insult and JW needs serious therapy. I am sad for JW mental illness it's a horror but SJ nor any one person is qualified to heal a man like that. I assume the writer took this opportunity to hijack a fandom that got them the funds for a S2 to spread some awareness. At the cost of our hearts and minds which in an of itself is quite cruel. No matter how it ends, I can not see it ending healthy for either one. That sort of mental illness is lifelong. SJ was a chaser and chased until he got JW against JW wishes to be left alone. There are consequences of that I get it. But why spend precious funds to tell the world what all gays already know? New gays may experience hardship. Many have serious trauma. Anyway, I haven't watched and I will not until it's over and decide if it's something I need to be taught (doubt it). I'm living off clips and group chats which is gut wrenching. There are no better actors to pull this off hands down the cream of the crop. We elect to watch or not. I am just sad for those of us who looked at this as a 300 minute escape from real life to watch a couple blossom in love. That does really happen too. I truly hope it's a bad dream but even still it's cruel to do to the fans. I hope I find a way to accept it because TMS1 was the start of something I had hoped would be great for their country. Blueming Series was and will remain that torch now. I suspect thousands of us will also be writing "ToMyStar" good bye letters.
Edit to add from off forum chats: What if while SJ was away he cheated or JW thought he cheated . Then JW actions we would accept.
Maybe "ToMyStar" is a letter from one of them to the other? Damn
Su Yan Xi was with Fu Bo Ya when they were younger. He Jin Xi was with Gu Xi Cheng when younger. I'm now just…
Agreed. She doesn't go from happy girl to mean woman. Second ml did say something as he was remembering her about hurting someone. Darn now I need to rewatch.
Spoiler hunting please assist! The flash backs are showing two different girls right? . I'm on epi 7 I think. Do we know which girl was with which boy? Thanks!
Does anyone know if the series has addressed if the restaurant is new and solely owned and named by JW or could it be named by his family as a message to him?
I'm serious here, have you thought what reason you would not only forgive ( that's easy) but would accept to take…
That's a great statement! For me it sounds like love is different for each of them. I certainly don't hate JW or anyone with such deep roots mental illness. I think we all knew it would happen in season two at some point it is his reality. So I am gathering that for this series no matter the reason it's due or under the title of mental illness. Since S accepted that part of JW from the start he will accept it now and again in the future. I think I can accept that in the series. Thank you!

Massive debt loan shark nope Terminal illness nope Annoyed at your success and clingy ness nope Thought you had an affair nope Fathered a child nope All of these can be discussed between mature adults. A mature adult doesn't bail with no signs of life. That mind assault is beyond words. Please party people what are some reasons? Help lol
this is why hwang daseul is one of my favourite directors. she has this way of weaving a story with such little…
I'm serious here, have you thought what reason you would not only forgive ( that's easy) but would accept to take a person back could be? Like if you received a note from your most loved and trusted intimate partner like that who bailed and gave you no signs of life, what would it be for you to accept him back? I have none. I need some ideas lol. I haven't watched yet but need some ideas lol
What is cool about mdl is that we are from all over the world with different life experience and boundaries. Especially morals, standards and values. Some have no self worth some ooze self worth. You can see it by reading the comments. Fascinating.
In life, you can forgive someone, love & care about them but that doesn't mean you accept them back.
S2 is about their stories from their points of view. The series could be using the success of the S1 fluff (which is why you are even seeing a S2) to highlight mental illness. Coming out. Societies heinous pressure on lgbt. Etc. could be showing us who they were, who they became and JW unfinished business. Maybe they end up together but reality is your first few gay relationships are not your forever.
This is South Korean made and that is the target audience. I hope whatever their message is that their citizens listen and learn. There are no better actors to deliver it.
