Agreed. Since the message is to Chinese and not the world at large, I am sure this will show us that no matter what your childhood is and no matter how awful it is, it does not define you. Concentrate only on your path and when you are damn well ready and fully complete then seek out the woman you want to share that time with and do whatever it takes to get her and have her forgive you. I did not read the novel I have no idea what will happen but this is the first series with these two in it that I have watched more than 3 episodes in that is not a historical or fantasy. I love it so far. I do hope she dates and we see her live her life to the fullest. I would not mind if the series ends with them each in their own lives though. I wouldnt mind at all.
