There is zero way the ML agency will ever allow this to air. He is already in mainland China series. If it airs he can never return to MLchina entertainment. Only those prior to 2016 (after they waited a few years like Simon) could get back in. I am so happy to see his star rise and he is great in Beauty of Resilience. If this is allowed to air and doesn't hurt him then maybe we are seeing progress in China! Something is up. China ban censored gay adaptations regardless of country it airs. so again if ML is in it I don't see this airing anywhere even if he doesn't play the gay character. Interesting
Edit to add: I am not saying it can't be made. What I am concerned with is if he is doing it on purpose then maybe this means he is bowing out of mainland Chinese dramas. We saw this recently with the dude from Mr Perfect Boyfriend (the vampire) I think it's called. He did a Bl in Korea and he is out of Chinese dramas now.

Did the mom die at the wedding? Was he singing at the wedding? Was he present singing wherever that was and she was there and died while hearing her boy sing? How can I survive that!!!

Wow I wonder why they didn't show the kids being told the truth. Did they at least allude to the lie being explained later when the mom felt they could better understand her reason for lying to her children?
