Friends

I so want to agree with you but unfortunately attraction does not happen to the guy who is giving everything away…
I guess it depends on the person. In my own life, the guy I liked was the one who actually was really nice to me. But he ended up getting another girlfriend a few days ago...Boy do I feel like a second lead in his story. But I don't have any regrets because I told him how I felt about him (in a conversation we had just yesterday) and we decided to be just friends.

I agree partially but let expand on that scenario a little bit. If my friend were to tell me exactly what you…
I don't necessarily disagree, but I would rather my friend be single than to be with someone toxic or abusive just because she has "strong feelings". But, like you said, I wouldn't encourage her to date someone just because everyone thinks he's nicer.

I disagree with your opinion. While some second leads are indeed selfish, most of them just ensure that they've been honest about their feelings. I don't see a problem with confessing your feelings to someone you love just because you think they may be in love with someone else...especially if that person is toxic. The reality is, we love to see male leads as good people who are broken or hurting. But the truth is, if we were to apply that to real life, we would tell the woman to run far away from any man who is like that. I don't care what a person has gone through, it's not okay to hurt someone else because of their own pain. And if one of my friends asked me for advice on whether to date the jerk of a main lead (who can be really sweet when he's ready) or the nice guy who's always supported and been there for her, I'd definitely recommend the nice guy...especially if he's still nice even after she's taken him for granted time and again.

Title 49 Days
Attempted to watch it, but I hate flashbacks and so far, almost half of each episode consists of them. If you don't have a problem with that method of storytelling, then go ahead and enjoy it.
