This is heartbreak

I hope Tong Nian's Mom is happy. She caused her daughter's heartbreak, and she even had the gall to ask Han ShangYan to be the bad guy. Even after she knew his history with parents dying when he was so young, she was so prejudice against him instead of trying to get to know him.

Mother interferes

Ugh! I hate this trope where the Mom is cruel, interferes and they break up. But, it looks like that's where we're headed. Han ShangYan has started to be cruel to Tong Nian so she'll doubt his feelings for her, even going so far as to say he gave the cat away. I felt so bad for both of them, not being able to explain what's going on.

A public confession

Wow, I didn't expect that. Yin Guo didn't either, and YiYang had never told her about it. It truly was love at first sight. His eyes just adored her from that first time.

The way they encourage each other is priceless

FL: "No matter what happens, you still have me. Think about it. When you pursued me, you were just a poor student and I was nothing. No matter how bad it was, things can't be worse than that. Right? And now I'm ranked third in the world. No matter how bad it gets, you are still the boyfriend of the world's third-ranked player."FL: "I am your escape route in life."By the end of episode 16, ML has flown to China to be with FL for her birthday.

The most relaxed I've seen them

So many cute moments when they're relaxed in each other's company. Making a snowman on the beach - too funny.

Red envelope time already?

They haven't even started dating officially yet and everyone's talking about marriage and red envelopes already. It's all too cute.

He's got it bad

Lin YiYang is head over heels in love with Yin Guo already and she seems to have feelings for him too. But her older cousin and Li YiYang's history won't make this easy. Wu Wei is the best wingman to get everyone out of the way, esp. Yin Guo's younger cousin.

Aaargh, the misunderstanding trope begins

Over a box of chocolates....SiYue was actually happy to receive it. But given that Dong Zheng Fei is whispering nonsense to XianXian and Xing LuFei steals the chocolates, I can see where XianXian's mind has wandered to.

We're back at the first episode

We finally understand their separation. XianXian has never communication well due to her insecurity and shyness, and it's much harder when SiYue can't see her face and talk to her in person. It was heart breaking to see him overhear the conversation between XianXian and Su BoCong.

Heartbreaking

This episode made me so sad. I can't imagine how it would feel to love someone who has forgotten how they felt about me. It wasn't like they had a falling out. Just overnight, the way someone saw them, looked at them, loved changed.

I didn't expect that

I had a different guess about the notebook. Boy, was a I wrong. I am not as crafty as these Gisung folks.

Wow, that was intense

Some of these episodes are a good mix of comedy and seriousness, but the last scene was intense! I was wondering why Bong Sang Pil felt this instant kinship with Ha Jae Yi, and I was surprised to learn of their shared history. I'm wondering when he'll let her know.

What happened here?

The plot was already fairly complicated with the time travel and interconnectedness. Hwang's involvement in this mess as a main player, instead of a lackey, seems to overcomplicate things. Just my 2 cents. So many reveals in this episode that I feel I should diagram everything. LOL

Courage

Hua Biao is finally brave enough to own up to his feelings by giving Yang Xi his gift. Seems like a small thing but not when the other person holds your heart in their hands. And it must be so intimidating to come in between Li Yu and Yang Xi when they've literally known each other their whole lives.

Harsh

Man, Russian roulette, beatings, property damage and now Kenji - that b*****d wasn't even grateful for getting his life spared.But at least the beginning was sweet.
