Italophilia Why do I get the feeling that Meng Yao is behind all this? To me, he just has this creepy smile, that he always has something up his sleeve. Just a guess that maybe he put the idea (and maybe the curse) on Jin Zi Xun to ambush Wei Ying, which forced Jin Zi Xuan to intercede. Without Jin Zi Xuan, Meng Yao can be clan leader in the future.All that effort, and WY loses the remaining Wen clan who willingly go to their death. It's a horrible ending for them. And I don't see the Jin clan leader being that different from the Wen clan leader in his greed and hunger for power. Does the cycle begin again?

I really didn't expect that sabotage from Yu Wu Yuan, esp. after he claimed to have feelings for Bai Feng Xi. I love Lao Tai Yin, a wise elder who I hope guides our heroes to the right path.

Jiang Cheng's jealousy and immaturity was apparent in this episode as he was goaded by the other clan leaders into disowning Wei Ying. If he only knew that it was Wei Ying who willingly gave up his own Golden Core to Jiang Cheng so JC could have a chance at being clan leader. And that in Wei Ying's weakened state, he was captured and was thrown into the Burial Mounds where he cultivated his new powers. And that's the biggest difference between the two of them. JC just whines about losing everything, while WY doesn't give up; instead, he perseveres and comes back stronger than ever.I was hoping Wen Qing would reveal the truth to JC when she returned the comb, just so JC gains some perspective about the sacrifices WY has made for him. Alas, we don't get that satisfaction.

I have always wondered about the back story on how Hia Yi became responsible for Khon Diao. That tiger story was scary and I felt horrible for all involved including the caretaker. It seems like Khon Diao's family is also well off. It's strange to me why they feel they have to mooch off the Chen family.

Boston is a prick but we already knew that. He just seems so unhappy that he doesn't want anyone else to find their happiness. I just feel so bad for Sand. I think there's a chance Ray can be happy with him and finally get over Mew, but Boston is making sure that doesn't even happen.

Fang Zhi Jing deserved that public take down. He has no morals and he makes it seem like he is successful by his own merits alone. But Gao Jian Hong worries me, esp. when he deleted the recording. His own pride and his jealousy over Li Xun's ability has warped his initial enthusiasm for pure learning and achievement.

Hwa Shin feeling regret now - is it really because he has finally seen her true worth, or as Jeong Won says, it's only because he himself likes Pyo Na Ri, so Hwa Shin also likes her?Pal Gang's birth mom giving that speech at the college choice conference was really touching. I thought she would belittle her, but she was totally decent instead.

I'm glad that the rift between Su Yu and Wu Bi didn't last long. So nice that we get to celebrate their 18th birthdays with them. Wu Bi's Dad is finally starting to understand him.

I know it serves a purpose, having Su Yu wait around for days, trying to convince Wu Bi's uncle to see him, but it ate up the episode and we get a cliffhanger. I really wanted to know what he has to say.
