This series really had a similar vibe to the OG. The leads had great chemistry. I liked the changes they made to update the remake. I was smiling throughout this final episode!

If the rest of the show will be like that last scene, I might just get an ulcer watching this show. I'm empathizing way too closely with Ji Ying Ying (and I'm tiny like her). All I want to do is punch to smug looks from General Niu's and Grandpa Zhao's faces.

Who knew he was running injured? Stupid, stupid athlete. Now, he's injured and needs a more aggressive treatment. He may always have a smile on his face but it belies the hurt in his heart (or the many hurts).

Must be tough for Noh to get negative feedback all around. He's already reluctant to make his status with Phun public because he's not sure how his music club will react. Then, he overhears clerks judging their relationship, Phun's aunt wanting to introduce a new girl to Phun, Phun's parents' wanting to know who Phun is dating as it may reflect poorly on them as public figures. It all adds up and just adds to the stress in their new relationship.

Not only in the show but on MDL as well. It was not a popular idea even on Go Ahead, but even more hated on FbC. For me, childhood friends that become lovers is one of the best tropes. Joo Won was San Ha's lifeline for many years after being abandoned by his mother. San Ha and Hae Jun were her protectors while growing up. The nice part about being an adult is that you can change your relationships and have them evolve, just as San Ha is trying to do with his mother. San Ha and Joo Won realize that they're more than the neighborhood kids who treated each other as family; they love each enough to be family. And IMO Hae Jun, who lived with Joo Won, is her adopted brother, regardless of paperwork.

Kang HaeJun is so very clueless, so I guess the reveal had to be hit-him-over-the-head obvious, so there's no denying it. I laughed out loud at that scene, because it was really about time to have it out in the open. Also, HaeJun's face throughout the series have been so amusing, and this was the best!

OMG, we waited so long. They're crying. I'm crying. Now, don't screw it up!! And we got cameos from Love Sick (2014) OG Yuri and Aim talking to their 2024 counterparts. That was such a cool moment.

He has gotten to know her because she was so demanding earlier. And even when he was uncertain on what to do with her, he still was decent and bought her the basic supplies she would need, all South Korean products. And here he is again, using a scented candle for her to find her way to him in a crowded place.

Talk about slow. Just kidding. There were many changes from the OG version, but nothing that changes the plot significantly. We're still at the same place, where San Ha confesses to Joo Won, and she doesn't know what to make of him. I'm enjoying the faster pace with fewer filler episodes. We get significant movement in the plot every episode and it's impactful.

Who's the clueless one? Xiang Qin. And I'm not surprised. Zhi Shu has not been forthcoming with her, lest he give his mom power over him and start planning the wedding right away. But, he does know how he feels and that it's different than what he's felt for anyone before. Even Yu Shu knows since he witnessed the kiss at the hospital.
