I would not call it pretty good but I cannot understand the overly negative comments either. This drama was not…
This was one of the few romance dramas I've ever watched. I find LMH fairly unattractive, so I didn't pay much attention to his make-up. To me, he looks like the Asian Prince Charming (Shrek), just with less variety regarding facial expressions and less personality. I was really surprised when I learnt that he is a veeeeeery popular actor. (Good for him.)

At the beginning of the drama, I was interested in the development of the relationship between the FL and Prince Charming. Unfortunately, the writers suddenly dropped any development and made them a couple out of the blue. That's not uncommon for love stories, which is the reason why I usually avoid them. When I read "romance" in the description, I usually expect a lazy story in this respect.

I was more interested in the murderer and found that part of the story fairly enjoyable. Unfortunately, after the bad guy died, there was no story anymore but the drama didn't end anyway.

The lack of an actual story at the end of a drama is a problem with many dramas, even dramas I enjoyed a lot before they ran out of ideas. I give them good ratings anyway.

Despite its flaws, I found this drama watchable.

wow i didnt know the revies for this were this bad?? it was actually pretty good imo lol
I would not call it pretty good but I cannot understand the overly negative comments either. This drama was not that bad just average. I think all those people were disappointed because they expected more from this drama. As for me, I didn't expect much, and didn't know the actors either, so I didn't care about the ML's limited acting skills.

A must watch!!! The drama has everything one needs in a crime/scifi series except for the potential for a rewatch…
You are not the only one. I'm sure the relationship between Park Hae Young and Cha Soo Hyun is supposed to be ambiguous. They do have a great chemistry. Just like Cha Soo Hyun and Lee Jae Han. It makes this drama interesting .

What a lovely series. I've just completed it but I don't remember much. The story was nothing special, just entertaining. The chemistry between the ML and FL was great. I also loved the secondary characters, especially the FL's best friend.

Great drama with interesting characters and character development. The last few episodes felt a bit lengthy. The drama would have been better if it had been a bit shorter, maybe 12 episodes. Nevertheless, it was very entertaining.

Yeah watching it again but realised why I didn’t overly shipped the main’s romance….my personal opinion…
No worries. Just like you I'm just sharing my personal opinion here. Yours is as valid as mine. :)

To be honest, I haven't watched anything else with Kim Go Eun apart from "Goblin" and "Eternal King". I liked her in both dramas. She's pretty and sweet, she's got a range of facial expressions and she feels like a real person.

However, since you watched two more dramas than I, maybe you are right and maybe she she is not that good as a romantic partner. Not everybody can play every role. That's fine.

I think the problem is the lack of common interests, which is the authors' fault. Ji Eun Tak is 18/19 and a pupil for the majority of the drama, and Kim Shin is like 40/900. It is difficult to make "daddy and his daughter" unseen if the characters do not have anything in common apart from good looks and "youth vs money". The actors cannot add something that's not there.

I found the second couple in "Goblin" far more interesting because one could see that Sunny was totally into Grim Reaper's awkard behaviour whilst the Grim Reaper did his best to become a "normal" person and meet her assumed expectations. They wanted to learn more about one another, and there was more to discover, not just "oh, he's so handsome".

Ji Eun Tak and Kim Shin didn't want to learn more about one another because they already knew everything about each other within the first few minutes of the drama (apart from the problem with the sword, which did not change anything anyway).

In Eternal King, the protagonists didn't share any common interests either. They liked each other from the beginning, and there wasn't any relevant development, no conflict.

This drama had so many good ideas and a few wonderful actors but the writers somehow managed to make this drama a confusing mess. It was never clear whether something happened on purpose or if it was just bad writing or bad acting because there was basically no consistency in the storyline. It often felt as if relevant information was missing. Also the audio quality was surprisingly bad. Sometimes, one could hardly hear the actors's voices. And then this drama ended "somehow".

I honestly don't really get the hate towards the FL. Is she kinda annoying? Yes. But she hasn't done anything…
I, too, was surprised by the hostile comments regarding the FL. This drama would have been fairly boring if she hadn't done the job the way she did. The team, and especially Kim Do Gi, had obviously been suspicious as of episode 1. I would have been angry if she had NOT investigated the Rainbow Taxi team just because Kim Do Gi is good-looking. Also, I don't like incompetence. Even though she's not my favourite character either, I think she did a good job.

I didn't see any homosexual tension at all...
That's fine. If it had been obvious, it would not have been interesting. ;)

Well, it was missing the BL clichés . (That was good) And only thing that did not make this a BL was the "Chrysler…
If Yo-Han handn't stopped wearing tempting clothes in front of Ga-On, maybe the break up would not have happened. ;)

I hope that I'll find a similar K-drama with a bit more BL. I'm not that into gay gayness and romance, though, that's why I don't watch "real" BL dramas.

Was it missing clichés? I don't think so. I was a bit disappointed that Yo-Han stopped appearing in his dressing gown(?) with minimal clothing in front of Ga-On after a couple of episodes. Yo-Han also stopped looking at Ga-On in such a longing way. Even if they didn't kiss, I had hoped for more scenes like that. :)

The homosexual tension between the two ML in the first few episodes made me wish this was a BL drama. Unfortunately, it wasn't. :(
Nevertheless, an interesting drama with quite a few turning points. I also enjoyed seeing two pretty female villains.

if you waited tell the torturing finale ,, you will find out that those enemies were scripted to do that because…
I don't know what dramas you tend to watch but I rarely encountered any action scenes as lazy as these in any Asian dramas. And I have watched a lot of Korean and Japanese dramas.

I did not expect the ML to ponder over the situation _while_ trying to escape but afterwards. He was not portrayed as Patrick Star, Spongebob's neurodivergent friend. In episode 1, he was introduced as an engineer who is able to analyse complex situations in extremely stressful situations and find solutions within seconds. I expect a drama to follow its own logic.

Great thriller drama with good acting and many plot twists. Lee Hee Joon and
Lee Seung Gi were brilliant. I felt the drama was a bit long, especially since we learn basically nothing about the personality of the characters, which makes it a bit difficult to relate to them. The story mainly focusses on serial killers and murders. Yo Han appears to be the most interesting character but he has got a bunch of scenes, and that's it. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this drama anyway. The idea and story was interesting.

I liked Cho Seung-Woo a lot in "Stranger" but, for me, his good acting skills were not able to balance out the many flaws in "Sisyphus". I'm glad you told me about the explanation in the final episode, so I don't have to feel stupid too. ;)

The concept of this drama sounds interesting but I know lots of similar stories. I would have been fine with a few flaws in the logic if the rest had been intriguing.

Actually, I meant that as a sarcastic comment hence the many dots. In my personal opinion, there was no need to make the action scenes so lame. Even with the explanation in the final episode, the writers could still have created the illusion of danger.

In the first episodes (the ones I watched before I dropped the drama), the "very intelligent" ML not even once questioned how he was able to outrun bullets that should have killed him. I really don't like it if characters who are supposed to be "very intelligent" are dumber than I.
