I hope Green couple wins, otherwise the Yellow couple should win it.

IMO blue & red couple clearly have dicey future.
And, pink couple, although there is a unnecessary power dynamic in their relationship and its all messed up, but I think they will power through it.

Makes me wonder what goes into the upper management's minds who approved this show.

1 star for Na Rae, Hong Chul & DinDin trying to make something out of this sh!tshow and, also Lee Si Young to trying to fulfill whatever the creators of the show wanted from the cast. Rest of the cast was just forgettable at best. I know there are many Dex's fans on here but, for me Dex & Jonathan were too awkward and cringey, esp Dex's immersion was downright embarrassing.

1 star for Episode 6 & its main character - the reporter guy. Only episode 6 is funny and worth watching (however still skipping almost half of it), and possibly if I were to know about the episodes content, I would have skipped it all and just watched the episode 6.

1 star for the supporting cast/zombies/rest-of-the-initial-survivors for their convincing performance, wish the rest of cast could learn something from them.

Basically, this is a sh!tshow. Skip it. Still want to watch this one, then watch just episode 6, there would not be anything of loss in continuity worth-while.

Binge watch Season 1. Then, wait till Season 2 ends, and then binge watch it. I usually go like this, this way no cliffhangers, no waiting till next week's episode.

Sorry, Yes, just noticed that he was the same ML. And, yes he was pretty good in that show, 2nd best (1st being the FL's uncle) on that show for me.

That makes my review of his acting for this role rather incorrect.
But, still this role was rather mopey and one dimensional. Maybe, it's the direction that's messed up and not the actor. Hope he gets & performs rather good roles as compared to this show's.

About ML, I might not have watched his other shows, hence my review was only limited to his performance in this show. Thus, it's not biased but objective review however limited to one show.

This is by far the most mentioned kdrama (in terms of articles - random & meaningless) I have come across on MDL recently.

There is quite a lot of downfall in terms of quality of games, or even worth of the games as any main game from all the episodes can be unilaterally be won by alliances instead of any shred of brain usage (so called genius as is suggested in the title), when compared to season 1 where genius plays were able to win the games outright.

Also, the disappointing death match games. They are supposed to be individuals fighting among themselves, 1v1. Where are death match games from season 1 such as Indian poker or even tactical yut? Bloody Games (esp. season 2) have done justice to death matches. Death matches are supposed to be played like the final penalty shootout in football, only 1v1.

Have just started watching Genius, but as I have rated season 1 - 9/10, this one so far (halfway) is 5/10 at best.

Brilliant. Finally someone picked Capture The Flag for tv.

Its bad, no need to revisit this one imo. Save your time.
