I think it really comes down to preference. I’m also a kdrama watcher and these are the type of shows I prefer so I am happy to find a Thai bl with a similar vibe. Thai BL tend to go the overly complicated plot way or the ROCO with heavy sound effect route (which I can enjoy, but they are really not my favs) so the simplicity and *silence* in this feels refreshing.
LYKN is a group but they are still pretty new and it is the first lead role for both ML so it’s down to ppl just genuinely appreciation the visuals, story and chemy 😊
