agreed with bona. it was disgusting, no one can deny it but the execution was an absolute masterpiece. it takes a genius like park chanwook to take such a twisted plot and make it a work of art. i watched this years ago but this movie still sticks with me whenever i think of korean cinema. i also fully disagree with you.

maybe they weren't actually partners, and were competing to take over hyojin? but then again, there must be significance in showing the il gwang's japanese underwear though... this is giving me a headache

this movie's a hit or miss. the director tried to fuse like over five different genres into this movie and quite frankly it didn't fuse too well. however, as a lover for dark humor and all sorts of strange shit i enjoyed it regardless. it's one bizarre movie, i'm telling you
