I am sorry you missed the point of the story. I humbly disagree with you. The characters are complex and very human. He has a past trauma that has led him to perceive love in his own way. She hasn’t been indecisive at all, in fact she believed every single words he said. Asking her to forget her childhood love without committing was cruel of him. He didn’t see through her, she was already falling for him. Their dialogue is nothing but deep, honest and real, and that is what makes this series such a masterpiece. Indecisive? She matured and grown into the woman that selfless will put her family before her own needs and desires. He asked the imposible from her, his fear and desperation of loosing her to another man blinded him , but both loves are so beautiful and sincere that is actually gripping. Best show I have watched. I don’t know if should be called a drama, as the quality is film like. The director is a genius. The acting is epic! Perfect casting and interpretation from both.

I agree. While my heart breaks for him, did he though she was going to abandon her sick dad, dependable sister and small brother? We know everything he has done behind her back during the war, but she doesn’t and he never told her so. Now she doesn’t even believe he saved them. We can’t blame her for those choices, she is actually acting quite selfless. She is thinking of her family. Now, let’s talk about the acting. Namgoon Min ! Wao! This character is so complex and he still delivered an epic performance. He is a beast during the fighting scenes and at the same time so vulnerable and human. Can’t describe my amazement. Can’t imagine how nervous and pressured Eun Jin felt to be paired with Min. Nevertheless, she has stood the test. Amazing performance, I love her interpretation. The director is a genius. The camera angles, the photography, the music!!! My first time commenting on a show. I truly believe this will become a classic.
