Absolutely love the series, but the ending left me quite unsatisfied and full of unanswered questions. 1. Day stayed behind in the other world or gap between worlds (or whatever they called it), but then later he seems to be living some sort of life?đ€ So did he go to a different world, or what? 2. From what I understood, to escape from the curse, either Day or Night has to be gone/ dissapear, because leap day needs both of them to work. But leap day happens only once every 4 years, so why can't Day or Night just "die" artificially every leap day and then come back and live happily ever after? 3. This naturally leads to a question, why/how did Dream and Ozone survive the first time? Both Day and Night were there and alive, so technically Dream and Ozone should have died then, cause the curse has not been solved yet. 4. Ozone kept saying that Day and Night must meet, which is why I assumed was the reason that Dream and Ozone survived the first time, but that was not it. So the why did Day and Night had to meet? Just to make one of them sacrifice for everyone? 5. Also, there wasn't a really good explanation on why this leap day curse even happens, how it started, and how to solve it permanently without other sacrifices. Anyways, I cried a river watching last parts, and desperately need a special episode where they all get a happy endingđđđ€§đ„șđŁ
Came here to refresh my memory on the cast for this and damn; filming for this series is going to tie up a lot…
I know for sure that Ticket to Heaven has been pushed to 2026, but it's because it is an original scrip, written by the master P'Aof himself, so he definitely wants to take his time and polish the story, not because of Scarlet Heart. As for Me and Thee, PondPhuwin said several times that it will come out before year ends, so I think they should start filming in two or three months. Not sure about the others, but my best guess is that they might come out, as the cast is made of an experienced actors, who are able to juggle several projects at the same time. Besides, it's quite obvious that main actors are Tu, Win and Nanon, meaning that rest of the cast will have time to do other things imo.
For those of you who have read the novel, how big is TawanAran in it? Are they an actual side couple or do they…
Depends on how faithully production follows the novel, because in the story TawanAran was like the main source of the drama (at least in Peachs life, they were making a lot of problems for our peace loving and chill guy), but they were not like at the forefront of the story (Aran and Peach occasionaly would work together, so they got along well, but werenât like besties or anything), so itâs really up to the production on whether they will want to make their roler bigger or keep it the same as in the novel. I can only say that Tawan was a super annoying character, so it would be nice to get some of the story from their perspective, because we only got snippets and not much of an explanation on their relationshipđ«Ł.
If the director is as you said, then I feel this production is going to be in trouble. Unless they get a god level…
I get that, but at the end of the day we donât know what choice do they really get, and maybe this one was the best they got out of the bunch (cause there are so many couples and only so many projects, I am just happy they have anything at all together at this pointđ). I am not blaming them, just a bit worried, because if production follows the novel to the t and the director is not that great as mentioned by Lyson, then it would be such a pity and the productions fault. I do believe Pond and Phuwin will do their best with what they got, but I want them to get better scripts to show just how talented they are. Anyways, fingers crossed that this project will turn out better than what I expect at this point đ€đ

Yeah, I loved his undercut. Honestly, Pondâs hair can be a paid actor in itâs own right imođ. I have a conspiracy theory that this undercut might be for the show (like a haircut test maybeđ€).

I managed to finish the novel only because I NEED to know how everything ends in whatever Iâm reading/watching, and it helped that the novel was short (like 45-48 chapters if I remember correctly). As for the character of Khun Thee - it would be more correct to say that he comes from a mafia family rather than that he is mafia himself, because he has a younger brother who runs the mafia part, while he runs the legal businesses where they launder the money, so that might be why he doesnât realy do anything mafia relatedđ€. But the author was really annoying by reminding the readers every chapter that he is mafia, even though heâs not reallyđ. But the story was quite promising in the begining, there was some depth to the characters stories, so if the production plays itâs cards right, it could be watchable, even if itâs very tropyđ. Fingers crossedđ€. And I agree itâs a waste of PondPhuwinâs talents. They need something better, maybe when Pond finaly graduates and has more time, they will get better scripts. Honestly, I want them to work with PâJojo again, I like his work and he did great with NLMG, so this feels like a step back for PondPhuwinđą.

Oh, Pond for sure will be THE top, at least in the novel everyone is super scared of Khun Thee, except for the Phuwinâs character of courseđźâđš. And I donât know about the darker tones, cause in the novel nothing really âmafiaâ happens (author had to remind the readers in the first paragraph of nearly every chapter that Khun Thee is a scary and cold mafia CEO (like it would literary be written like that), even though he doesnât do anything mafia related, or at least the author never bothered to describe it thenđ). To be honest, NLMG was a lot darker in my opinion. If you read the novel as PondPhuwin fanfic, then it kinda works, cause honestly, thatâs the level of the novel (been reading too much of their fanfic lately, which finaly made me understand where the problem of the novel wasđ ). With a good scripwriter it could be saved to an extent, cause there was depth to the main characters, problem is how to translate that to the screen, and if they canât fix the story, my guess is they will add more comedy (as seen in the pilot) - âsoap opera loving mafiaâ (LOL, thou there is a reason he likes lakhorns). Imma watch it just for the ship I guess.
Won't pretend like I didn't get distracted by the idea of Pond and Santa doing a BL together from the intro to…
If the director is as you said, then I feel this production is going to be in trouble. Unless they get a god level scripwriter, who could maybe possibly save the story, because I read the novel and it is super tropey (super handsome, rich and possesive cold CEO uke x hard working normal life loving orphan shou - you can already imagine how the story goes đ). Only waiting for this show, because I love PondPhuwin and wanna see them on screen together again. Also happy that itâs not another campus love storyđ
No one knows if or when it's coming back.My advice is to watch the eight episodes available and then read the…
I would suggest to read read the novel from the very begining, because in the drama series a lot is omitted. As a person who read the whole thing, I highly recommend to read it from start to end. Priest is a brilliant writer, and the way she builds up the story and the relationships is gradual, with hints dropped from the beginning, and the world building just sucks you in.
Now that you mention it yeah it is a little bit of bad timing. The first two episodes were interesting though…
Actualy, both cases in the series are based on a real life cases that happened in China during that time period. The first case is based on a serial murder (Gansu Baiyin case) - 11 women were killed in the 1988-2002 time period. The killer was caught only in 2016. The second case is based on Nanjing university mutilation case in 1996, where the victim was dismembered into 2000 pieces and the killer is still not caught. Difficult to say whether fiction gets inspiration from real life or real life gets inspiration from fiction đ«Ł.
