ALSO, I heard in the book there is some misunderstanding between chen pang and the wei clan. he didn’t actually abduct shiyuans mothers. it seems they were in love but something had happened. so I wanted some scenes of that being cleared and him getting that clarification. coz he died offscreen due to asthma that was weird lol
SPOILERRRRRRR‼️🚨 my opinion on the deaths: 1. the zhang pu dude: his death was not satisfying enough. the person to kill him should have been bi zhi. like girl he literally took his wife and child away. the fact that liu yuan or whatever killed him is pissing me off. 2. cousins death I feel like was needed to be shown. I liked her don’t get me wrong BUT her death was really strong. she refused to let her man be controlled and she took action right away. and also she mentioned earlier in the show that she can’t save a country but she can only save one person so she did what she had to do. a great display of love. it was sad but beautiful. 3. wei liang: man he could have survived. I found his death very useless. YES he died a hero BUT they could have maybe severely injured him and locked him up or hung him upside down or some shit. because wei liangs death was needed for the our ML and the generals to feel anger and feeling of revenge but even if they just kidnapped him and tortured him that would have also given kind of the same reaction from the generals. so I feel like they could have kept them alive also because his love line was doing so well. 4. lady yuolov: I mean our ML was right about her. she always played the victim card and never saw what was around her and the people that cared and loved her. she always doubted people and plotted against them. so I feel like her killing herself was the best they could have shown because at the end of the day she herself got into all the trouble which she could have avoided. she didn’t appreciate what she had and payed the price. at the end her self realisation made her kill herself. 5. the poor girl at the beginning I forgot the name. I kind of felt bad for her tho. like she was really annoying BUT didn’t deserve death. she could have been sent away far or somewhere but that lady yuolov got her killed
