Got you. I'm not interested in the main leads' story. Though i like the ML's character. But i'm much more interested in Captain Bu and Stone Cui's story. And I just can't get my eyes off Bu Shulin.
honestly, i'm more excited for them than the main couple.
We're only in episode 7... And FSQ and CJB didn't have much screen time yet. But for me, they could be one of the reasons that people might stick with this show. That is, if they put proper screen time for them. Their characters looked really promising and for me, much more interesting because of her secret that would have consequences if revealed. And... honestly, FL doesn't really connect to me either. This just feels like any other revenge drama in her character. But ML has a bit different twist for his character so far. Lastly, i was actually about to drop this but when Captain Bu showed up, it made me continue watching it for her.
DEYM... Fan Shuai Qi is really convincing to play as a cross-dresser. She's really handsome. If she just kept quiet i really thought she was a guy... It's rare to see actresses really convincing in this role.
