And please watch carefully and listen to what the characters say, because Do San said, "I don't want plan B" ... "Plan B for when we fail." It's not about Dal Mi, but about their company ("we"). If he has to sacrifice something, he will sacrifice himself and leave with Alex. He doesn't want to get anything for free. He just wants to build company with his friends. And yes, I think they will tell Dal Mi about it.

Thinking about the scene where HJP tells SDM that NDS wasn't completely lying to her and did most of what he did…
I can understand it. It's not just about Dal Mi, but that Do San doesn't want HJP to be their investor, because he never believed in Do San's capabilities, unlike Alex, who sees potential in him. Which person would you choose: the one who thinks you won't achieve anything or the one who believes in you?

I really liked when HJP played the matchmaker role at the very beginning. He was like the good fairy from Cinderella. And I have no idea why the writer dragged him into an absurd love triangle. Dal Mi is a dreamer. In turn, HJP is a realist. He is not greedy, he just knows that the business world is driven by profit. Personally, I would prefer HJP to be interested in In Jae than Dal Mi.

He didn't defend him, he just told Dal Mi the truth. And how he can even remember someone who wasn't important for him, after all he didn't remember what he wrote in the letters? ;)

Why letters are so important to Dal Mi? Because they are her delusional beliefs that she met her soulmate. She lost her sister and mother, and the only friend she had was a pen friend; which was created to helps her in those difficult times when she felt betryed and alone. And this sudden friend who came out of nowhere understood her better than she did herself. Years later, even she herself was not sure if he really existed. Or maybe it was her imagination, not, because there were letters. Why did she like his letters so much? Because they were a response to all her dilemmas and problems with which she struggled. She thought that her soulmate understood her without words; because she didn't tell him about her family situation and so he understood her perfectly without explenation. She thought so, and we know that Grandma understood her situation best. In fact, Grandma is her soulmate. It was her who wanted to console her, and she succeeded. Probably at some point she would have told her the truth with her dad, but unfortunately there was an accident over which no one had any influence.

I do not agree with this opinion. Obviously NDS is not an angel, but he has not lied to Dal Mi for his own benefit.…
Sometimes we do things that we wouldn't normally do, and that's the case here. Do San should take thanks from Dal Mi and disappear from her life, but he never met a girl like her. And he actually fell in love with her, he didn't know that HJP liked her too, so he decided to keep in touch with her. He did not know that they would meet so quickly and under such circumstances (Sandbox).

So the end would be a lot like "Dream High" where the main character also left. In general, I have the impression…
He is not pretending that he wrote the letters. He never told that Dal Mi. He just didn't denied it. I don't think so that Dal Mi will start fresh her relationship with HJP. I think he will be for her just her mentor, maybe a friend. The letters realy helps her in the past; she needed them then, but not now, because she found the true love, not the imaginouse one.

listen.. i don’t dislike NDS at all but why are people here trying to act like he is an angel???? HJP, NDS and…
I do not agree with this opinion. Obviously NDS is not an angel, but he has not lied to Dal Mi for his own benefit. As we know, he did not accept the HJP offer. Himself and voluntarily he went to the meeting, because he did not want to disappoint Dal Mi; he read her letters and a message from her, and so he decided to help her. NDS is a person who helps others in need and does it disinterestedly, he also helped a colleagues and even a strangers. He helped Dal Mi because he wanted to, no one forced or bribed him. Of course he should tell her the truth, but he was afraid of her disappointment, he didn't want her to be sad. And he didn't want too lose her, but he knew it will happend. And it's not that he wanted to tell her the truth because she "loves the person who wrote the letters." No, he wanted to tell her the truth without regard to the consequences, because he just doesn't want to lie to her anymore because he as well suffers from it.

So the end would be a lot like "Dream High" where the main character also left. In general, I have the impression that Start-up is like "Dream High". Where Dal Mi is like Go Hye Mi, Do San is like Song Dam Dong, HJP is like Jin Gook and In Jae is like Yoon Baek Hee.

Yes, maybe teenage girl! For the money nothing else. Because Nam Do San is perfection in anything he do!
Anyway, I wrote the opposite comment because I don't agree that Dal Mi should choose HJP because she doesn't feel anything for him. She only likes him because he is her mentor and good friend to Do San. I know that HJP is a good person and I like him too.

He was her first love after all???... LOL. This is where you got it all wrong... He was never her first Love.
Yes I agree. HJP was never her first love, as the letters were not written on his own initiative.

Yes, it is true, but he chose this path himself, because he did not want to trust his heart. He has to learn that not everyone wants to take advantage of him because he is rich. There is also a good person in him to love, but he has to allow it. It is too late to win Dal Mi's heart, but he will surely meet someone else.

Yes, reality. Actually, I would choose Nam Do San as well. Why, because Dal Mi and he fit together. Together, they start a career in a life that was not easy for them. What they build together and what they achieve will matter much more than if they had received financial support from someone else. They are partners on a professional and personal basis, they struggle with problems together and work together to solve them. They think alike, they care about people, they become smarter and more competent. They are both like "the girl on the swing"; they want to make their dreams come true.

hm, good point about revenge guy, but now I think the math competition story was written to give Do San opportunity…
Yes, he saw the answer on the piece of paper. But I am convinced that he himself knew the answer, but he was too nervous to recall the formula. And this card had to fall on the floor, because he had to win, because destiny "wind" decided so. His picture just had to appear in the newspaper;)

Hehe, I laughed. It totally doesn't matter that they met through lying, because their love for each other is real…
I don't agree with that because she loves him for who he is. She does not love him because he wrote letters; because she sees him as a different person, not the one from the letters (conversation with grandma). The kiss was not the result of "his letters", but of deeds. And of course they fit together, because they don't care about profits but about people. They are similar characters and they support each other.

I'm sorry, but it's impossible because she already loves another man. Because it is not words that count, but deeds :) And all of this is the result of the destiny that brought them together and the "wind" ;)

I'm thoroughly disappointed with grandma this episode and she was one of my favorite characters. The fact that…
Grandma does not want to disappoint Dal Mi, because she loves her, she is the most important for her. HJP only lived with her a year, so don't expect him to be more important to her than her granddaughter. Grandma sees that Dal Mi and Do San are happily in love and that is all that matters to her. And besides, HJP told her that he was not interested in Dal Mi, it was his own decision. Grandma is not a telepath, she cannot read his mind!

In the end I don't want DS and DM to stay together, imagine they have children and ask the story of how they met…
Hehe, I laughed. It totally doesn't matter that they met through lying, because their love for each other is real and that's the only thing that matters in life. And the letters don't count and Dal Mi will understand it, they helped her a lot, but it is the time to forget about them.
