I'm beginning to suppose that the whole story with the prophecy was also made by him. He is an amazing manipulator.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Dark Hole is clearly a bad guy. The fact that he had not received paternal love in his youth did not give him the right to kill his brother. But the worst thing is that he does not want anyone to know the truth, so he constantly kills murder witnesses and all other people who could identify him as the murderer in their memories.

For me, Dark Hole's brother looks more like Nam Do Yoon. It couldn't be Hwal because his brother was younger, not older.

I think the prophecy was made by the Dark Hole so that Hwal would never know the truth about what happened in the past and he would hate Sang Woon. Or maybe Dark Hole is the cursed child.
