A good film to study edits
Using the skills of their respective trades, a shaman and geomancer team up to resolve a problem that has plagued a family for generations. Deftly told through imagery, symbolism, and studied perspective, Exhuma is not so much a story about horror and spirits as it is a consideration of how what is suppressed and left unresolved can damage the present. The main and supporting characters are well constructed and acted, with clear motivations, actions, and consequences that are meaningful and well supported. A bit predictable, but expertly told. Bravo.
