Editorials A pleasurable distraction
Filing for Love is a well-acted jaunt with just enough character growth to fuel the Enemies-to-Lovers and Chaebol Politics storylines. Shin Hye-sun and Gong Myoung's chemistry and comic timing fuel the tension and relational change, while Kim Jae Wook and Hong Hwa Yeon become more prominent in the melodramatic second half. Regret, Passion, Ambition, Jealousy, Love, Forgiveness—it's all there, all told with a light audit sheen. The auditing provides the setting and the investigative framework, but ultimately serves more as sheen than as the engine connecting the two stories.
