Gennosuke looked way hotter in his pervious bl Dangerously sweet. šŸ˜
Because the character was more interesting and his acting was better too. I don’t know what happened to him here, but he’s acting very strangely, almost like he’s a completely different actor. Maybe he’s having a hard time with such a character.

Ep 4
Gennosuke’s acting here feels really strange, which is kind of surprising, but there’s no doubt that he’s very handsome. Konishi, on the other hand, has improved a lot as an actor. He did a great job in episode 4.

There’s another series, School Trip, and this one seems like a copy of it or at least heavily inspired by it. I’m not sure why this one feels less appealing... maybe it’s the production. Overall, though, it’s okay to watch and still entertaining.

One of the most handsome and talented actors Japan has ever known will get through this insane attack by unhinged people too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some malicious attempt by vindictive individuals or hostile groups to…
I read a summary, and he didn’t say anything wrong. I also don’t believe anything those aggressive people said. He has every right not to act in a gay series if he doesn’t want to—it’s his life and his career. They were absolutely vicious and completely overreacted.

Title My Summer of You Spoiler
Episode 10. The situation between them continues to frustrate me, especially the ending of the episode. It’s so emotionally draining, and yet I can’t stop watching because it keeps me in suspense. It’s very possible that this isn’t really a BL at all, but simply a human, romantic, fairly realistic drama—and maybe that’s exactly why it’s so unusually frustrating.

In this episode, once again, there’s a complete lack of communication, along with anxiety on both sides. Neither of them is capable of saying what he actually thinks or feels. And when Wataru finally does say how he feels—while drunk—he doesn’t get the response he was hoping for("Nothing") which would have simply been something comforting and loving.

Chiharu seems to do everything possible to ruin things, and somehow it never quite works. Meanwhile, Wataru becomes increasingly anxious and obsessive about him, to the point where he can’t even move forward from where they left off. Chiharu could have given him such a simple, reassuring response: that he’s sorry he has to leave again, or that he knows it hurts Wataru, but he has to go abroad to study.

What I find especially interesting is how completely Chiharu ’s role has reversed. He was the one who originally pushed for a situation in which he would receive love from Wataru. He was the person who seemed to want nothing more than to be with him. And now he is constantly running away, while Wataru is the one chasing after him. Their roles have completely switched.

On some level, I really can’t stand Chiharu . I even wonder whether part of my reaction has to do with the fact that he’s so beautiful and attractive, and whether that’s somehow part of the pattern. Do very attractive people sometimes behave like this because they know they have options? He seems to know that the whole world is waiting for him, and Wataru has almost become an obstacle in his way.

That’s only my theory based on the way he’s behaving right now, of course. It’s entirely possible that everything will change later on.

In reality, that doesn’t happen. In reality, it destroys countries. SKorea is an example.

The more popular they become, the more this will happen, and that’s why it really saddens me...

I’d rather preserve Japan as it is. I wish it weren’t so popular outside of Japan. All this exposure is causing damage and changing the face of Japan. I really hate seeing it happen

In old interviews, he said misogynistic things: https://x.com/jokergatack/status/2081274487681491056/photo/1
Leave him alone and back off already. Stop attacking people who haven’t done anything to you. You don’t care about human rights—you’re just spreading lies about him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some malicious attempt by vindictive individuals or hostile groups to ruin his life. What he said was completely reasonable. He’s being unfairly targeted and wronged for no reason. This harassment has to stop.

I find it hard to believe that Japanese fans are attacking him and that this isn’t some kind of Western movement going after actors who haven’t done anything wrong. It’s absolutely disgraceful how they hound innocent people and try to ruin their lives. If he doesn’t want to play a certain role, that is entirely his right. This has to stop.

Title Match Point
Chimon actually has two previous BL partners.
I didn’t know. It was a little hard for me to imagine him that way-I don’t know why, but he seems completely straight to me.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Anyway, I wish them both the best of luck.

Title Match Point
I didn’t like Sing Harit in his previous series, and I couldn’t imagine Chimon in gay relationship either. But Sing Harit seems more mature here. His look has changed, the way he speaks has changed, and he feels like a different actor. Suddenly, I really want them to become a couple.

I hope they’re not just messing with us, because they barely seem to get any screen time.
