I don't like Kdrama anymore, but what do you mean by "leave "us" who is "us" ? you as a person is not everyone, stop thinking you are the only one on the planet, too self centerd , and just block me that you will not watch my comment. it's on the arrow beside the heart icon.
it’s fair to not like cliche tropes, but I have to say the part about the “average Japanese guys” is so…
It is true that it's a fantasy, but you need to see some truth in a fantasy too, if most of them are short bring us even one of a short atractive guy , not all of them but At list one, by the way in Cherry magic the main actor are short so it's already a sign of something that have more into it.
Honestly, I don't think anyone here really cares about this drama being cliché, cuz' sometimes we just need shows…
It's not bad to be tall at all, it's just that the avarage Japanese man are shorter in high, so they could bring someone at the same high as the girl, he dosn't need to be high all the time to consider to be a good and atractive guy, it is a fantasy but you need some truth in the fantasy too, if the avarage japanese guy are short, give us short guy, that is all. About the Cliche I understand from where you coming from, but even Cliche need to be creative, maybe it's because I'm already watching it over and over again for years I'm tired, it doesn't mean it's the worse I've seen, I did watch bad films. now I'm watching web gays dramas, coming back to it after long years of Asian bls I found they were improved a lot, and there are planty of tham, they are free and there are some of them that is so good that after you watching great drama you can not go back...
I understand, I am not watching kdrama for several years so maybe things are changed, it could be that you are right, because when I am watching more Thai for the last years I notice it's happenning a lot , so it could be that they all follow the same path as slide on any crime if it's nothing like rape and violence, it is sad it's happening to Korean dramas to because I can not remember it like that, they were not too violence, but now when regulation changed they became very violent, good example for extrem violence is the hunger game version, it's sad...it's interesting to that it's happenning now, I think that bad and good bounderiies are becoming more and more thin in general, so the tolerance is increasong, the morality changes, if we watch it even on a global view, social media is a reflection, as the media driven humans to violence as it's very easy to get attention with violence and people are forgiving and forgetting and even admire violent people, so it could be that its been reflecting on the dramas you watch lately.
Could be you are misjudging it because you are watching mostly comedy or bl, or the same type of dramas? give example what you watch that are like that
For me it doesn't matter if it's a bl or straight drama, once I have watched so many Japanese dramas I can say it's just a generic comedy of error, nothing special, the main actor playing Ida is not good, the girl is always an "angle" as they always like to call them, good hearted shy person with a lovely smile and very cute, suddenly she became brave and punch the other guy as she need to have some spice too, the School Japanese girls are always the same, the guys too, they are sensitive either they are self centered, well it's based on a generic manga, but there are different kind of manga, maybe all the school mangas are the same I don't know, seems like they are. and on top of all: the boys are always tall although average Japanese guys high is short, still they must be tall than the "small" little shy girl, I think the only drama that was with short guy I remembered and was special was boys after flower, if that was the name, the main guy was short and stupid,
If you like school dramas, especially "The comedy of Error" type, and if you like the same type of manga characters you will like it , it's not bad, maybe if it's your first japanese school drama or first bl or "first" something.
If you only watch BLs then there is also Keita Hatsukoi.. that one is also good
Well, I have watched it in those 2 hours, 4 episodes so far I don't think there is more, it's more for school drama lovers, or more like "The Comedy of Errors" , Japanese like those kind of dramas, anyways it's just ok, nothing more to my point of view, but thanks anyways for the suggestion,
It doesn't need to be deep, its need to be with some value, maybe honesty, maybe more real, maybe funny, maybe…
ok talk to me after 7 years more at least if not 10 , watching not only Asia productions that suffering not only from harrassin but from a generic blant plots that based mostly on straight dramas, like this kdrama formula
not every bl has to be deep and meaningful, sometimes gays just wanna be gay! this show so far is just that: a…
It doesn't need to be deep, its need to be with some value, maybe honesty, maybe more real, maybe funny, maybe great editing and flow - something , When you have watched Asian bl for years already you started to get bored from the generic plots , at the beginning everyone were forgiven about the stupidity of it and enjoy everything they get out for gays as it's refreshing and new, but it can not be stupid without any value any more.
Thank god its over, I droped it the right moment but than I had to watch the end of Leon scene, and I have cried, couse I liked Loen, I don't know even why, Smart have such a cute face and acting, I just like this person, he is not the best actor, and making the same faces all over again in every scene, but he is adorable still,
If you like school dramas, especially "The comedy of Error" type, and if you like the same type of manga characters you will like it , it's not bad, maybe if it's your first japanese school drama or first bl or "first" something.
