I'm in ep 4 and I can't believe the reviews!! just unbelievable...don't believe anything you read , it's very very good drama, dealing with all kind of real issues in Japanese society- the conservative vs the young generation , Morikawa nail it again, for me she (like always) stealing the show. also Yanagiba that play her father is a real actor. i feel like crying when i read the review giving just 3 stars..the reason why the translation is so slow...every month a single episode.
Ep 1 is impressing , scent of the past (early 2000) productions, made very well and intresting. hope it will last:) on top of that (and maybe because she choose it like it) Gong Hyo Jin the queen
Those elements seemed pretty obvious from the trailers and all the nuances.
I guess you don't think a lot or don't like to think at all:) i set couple of possibilities and what is here in the present on terms of poly relationships. make research to prove me wrong (but if you don't like to think as you prove here... it's useless)

Pornographer(2 seasons) is by far the best, for me it's epic...not everyone think so, it's more for old people i guess that appreciate film making in all kind of aspects and it's like a movie that splits for tv drama.
the second i love are Joshi teki Seikatsu about transgender life, the romance didn't developed. unfortunate cut in the middle (4 episodes)
Tonari no Kazoku wa Aoku Mieru- just the bl parts. it's very cute. and somehow moving.
Doushitemo Furetakunai): It's a cute drama with a happy ending. Boss and worker relationship
For me Taiwan doesn't make art like japanese does, but they have all the "history" series that is cute(at list 1 and 2 season)

Yes , for couple of years it was refreshing because it was something different we mostly didn't watch before at this level in *Asia *, but now it became repetitive and mostly not fun anymore. i think also it's going to fade and they will have to move to another level like Japanese does, ...in some way they are a head of everyone times.(in Asia) for example man that dress and act as a woman of man that born half woman...don't know the term.
