You're twisting my words because you are extreme in your thoughts, i didn't say all the men in SK treating women like garbage and also in the drama it's not! so take it back with you and read again my comment. i mean that the majority are sexist and show it in different level and degree, it can be very subtle like in the last episode YWY say to KMR she is beautiful and that's why he like her, it's al around her look. i don't care much about women as victims or say about how they look at men, i'm responding to the original comment about the majority of men in SK and how they act, not a comparison.

It's not huge changing, it's not that the story is so different, it's very similar, changing chronologic here and there to make it more adjustable and real, so Western can relate and teen audience and older maybe can relate, but it's not just the story mate, it's they way you submit it to the audience so they can get rating , it's nothing that you can tell by details, it's more then the details, you understand me? it's the producing and the way you make it from paper to movie, it's not so easy. not everyone is George K martin that can convert their vision into the real world and say things, even he shut up until recently!!, it's just a manga artist she is not a movie producer, its a small play ground vs huge play ground, she is happy with her dream come to life, nothing more, it's not a master piece drama , so maybe she is happy to this degree they buy from her this and make it a "hit"..no one will remember after couple of years

I enjoy in some degree from this drama, but it could have been a lot better, if she have a contract with bunch of money she won't say a word mate:)and you will also,in that amount of money and fame, not to talk about her futur, this is all the point of her manga, i think also she is not alone in this, and working in a little company that can make a profit by covering their mangas to a million budget tv drama. It can't be not obvious if you have age gap of 6 and more years, no possible at all even with their "glass skin" , even so i don't think they can replace such a great actress, she is perfect for this so just ignore and get into this story

She have psychological issues, she need help and she is mental ill.i can't stand her anymore, it's worse in the drama, the manga is not that radical

I don't know what comment you read -i didn't write anything about the west, but you did. second - the writer write about women status in SK , and it is worse than the west, it's one of the worsts, as if they even don't talking about it!!! this drama is one of the only out there that have some kind of glance to this issue . it is so serious that for example there's legitimating prostitutes like this is a real job for young women, another example there was a drama long ago- it's talking about molesting of a teen, she suffering from her guys classmates a lot but the society is blind to her situation, no one translate it or put it in front because it's not entertaining and very glooming, it's on the back end , no budget for "reality" so nobody can even watch this, all this cover up make me sick , this is so bad that i almost can't watch K drama . and about the majority its like that because they have back up from the government...so nothing harm them!! they continue to act like this to women and they just shut up . now this drama - because it's seems to you radical it isn't it's also with a lot of cover up, the women is saved by a "knight armour" (man)...still there are flaws - this is just the begining. yes there's good guys i'm not saying everyone is like that, but the majority like that, even inside their mind they can't resist to this temptation to think that women need to be pretty and nice nothing more(and it's just a tip of the iceberg)

I watched it because of Mew and Art and i was really surprised because when it was on air i tought it was too much daring (with young actors it's look too much for my taste) but after i watched it is one of my favorit, 1. i like the main couple a lot they are cute. it was not so daring between them but sweet, 2. the Art and Mew couple where hilarious,at first i tought it's a drama but after it i understand it's kind of black comedy, i want to watch it again , Art crying is very funny when you watch you will understand
