I don't understand why Japanese people are so obsessed with highschoolers. Is it so hard to write a love story…
Here comes the duty educator, the one who lectures about what's right or wrong. Lucky for us all that your fascism hasn't yet reached Japan, and there's a struggle currently surfacing with people who act like you. If you were a director, you'd probably make boring and dull movies and force everyone to watch them in the name of "justice and integrity" that you've determined in your rule book of humanity.

um, i mean sure they might have a connection, but like why are they trying to normalize a teen dating her teacher?
These are Japanese films, and if they're not to your liking, you're welcome to continue watching American films. Please, please stop watching Japanese films. Thank you.

Despite it seemingly being a typical Japanese romance film between a student and her teacher, there's something different about this movie that stays with you afterwards. There's an attempt here to be more than just another romantic movie, in my opinion. It addressed the surface layer of the teacher's history without diving into his pain and choice of love, but I preferred it this way because I don't like heavy dramas, So, despite these weaknesses, the movie still held up very well.

Ok ok so I just finish seeing this movie and I was actually shocked the acting of the main girl was so annoying…
It's called live-action.She did a fantastic job.
On Sensei Kunshu May 4, 2024
I really liked the main characters; the actress was very funny, and the teacher was beautiful. The film was really funny until the first half; in the second half, it declined a bit into drama and was too dry for my taste. But overall, it was nice.

Your comments is what will save an entire industry? Your ego sure is huge. I've checked your watch list and your…
I'm not sure how you arrived at those conclusions, but unfortunately, nothing surprises me anymore about today's youth. We've reached a dire state where there's such a significant intellectual decline in the West that there isn't even a discussion. Everyone has become judges, passing judgment on others without truly understanding or investigating what the reality is, what the truth is, and giving time for things to settle, to think about them, to process them. You are too impulsive to even understand what I wrote or what you responded, and it's sad and frightening. No doubt, people like you are very scary. You can't understand the contexts of things and how one thing leads to another. My list is a puzzle, a complex puzzle of a process, and I've been watching for many years. I also understand art, and there are things that can't be detailed in one response. But this doesn't come from nowhere, and it also relies on feedback from students who studied in Thailand. Your response is very disheartening; it reflects the state of today's youth. I hope that you will mature in time to better understand people and check your reality without relying solely on emotions or stories told to you.

Perhaps it's my educational background but the teacher here is highly unprofessional and is being romanticized…
Why do you believe everything is written in some rule book on how every person should handle their emotions? And if it deviates from the norm, why do you think movies exist at all? Is it to satisfy the appetite for political correctness? Do you think movies are supposed to be the court of the viewers?

I know it's kind of twisted because of the teacher / innocent sweet student, but I really wanted the relationship…
Why do you think it's "twisted"? Do you think a student or a teacher doesn't have feelings? Why do you believe everything is written in some rule book on how every person should handle their emotions? And if it deviates from the norm, why do you think movies exist at all? Is it to satisfy the appetite for political correctness? Do you think movies are supposed to be the court of the viewers?

you know its fiction, yeah?
Woke don't differentiate between fantasy and reality, and everything must follow their rules. In their view, a romance film between a boss and an employee or between a teacher and a student cannot be made, because it violates their imaginary laws. They've created a restrictive world they want to impose on all of us, to be inhuman, without mercy, just one big facade, like a machine that meets their demands.

I binge-watched the series, which was excellent up to the middle, also enhanced by comedy and laughter at the main character (the unsuccessful and unattractive loser man).

The second half was less good only because the comedy was discontinued and it deteriorated into the usual melodrama of the second man and the endless dilemmas.

It was very easy to understand the feelings of the woman, the main character, throughout the series until the end, except in the last episode when it was hard for me to connect with her. Reality proves otherwise, reality shows that a man like Hoshino can find someone in his league and he is definitely deserving of appreciation, but the gap was so large that it didn’t seem realistic, not just because of the looks, but because of the level of intelligence and behavior. Both actors were truly excellent and captivating in their performance. I think from the sixth episode it was unnecessary to introduce another character that would take her back to the past; it would have been better to delve deeper into their lives together after the wedding. There wasn’t enough realistic interaction between them, like normal everyday conversations and dates, it felt like a woman dating a boy and not a man.

Despite this, the series itself was very moving and tear-jerking for those who can, in my opinion, identify with the woman lose, and it was the most logical thing in the world. In my opinion, all the reactions that she is selfish and such are reactions of teenagers or just people who have no love or have not experienced love, or who have a very strong sense of rejection. The lead woman is so beautiful and kind-hearted that it's hard to understand their odd comments.

A comment to the production and not to the fans- I've already withdrawn from this series, but if someone from the production is reading the comments, I think the only thing that could save this industry is to read my comment, because honestly, it seems they are just getting worse and worse. Maybe they have more and more productions because they really manage to sell things to their audience, the question is whether they manage to produce sequels films on the big screen? Probably not, and that's why. It's time for the Thais to introduce some art and culture into their education system. It's unclear what they are learning there, but it seems they aren't learning much, not even on the basic level of a film department in an elementary school. It's a shame because they have become a powerhouse of BL series .Most of their series are bland, meaningless, devoid of emotion that one can identify with, reaching a level where you wonder if they really care at all about the viewers, in an unclearly dismissive way. It's unclear what's happening there, I'm curious whether this is their attitude towards everything in life or if it's genuinely a lack of knowledge and tools. I forgot most of the Thai series I watched because everything was like that. The question is, what's the problem with acquiring the necessary knowledge, even from a basic art and photography course, and then progressing, receiving feedback, listening to critiques? It's as if they don't care at all about the critiques they've been receiving from viewers all these years.

The acting is wonderful, the characters are well-drawn and consistent, it's beautifully filmed, and it's so boring…
Seems to me Thais don't have an art and culture department in their film studies, they don't even have the most basic foundation to the extent that it's more enjoyable to watch student films on YouTube than most of their series. They have here and there some nice nonsense that provides basic enjoyment which you then completely forget because likely there was no plot. The only series I remember and have watched several times is 'Rack and Diao', , maybe because it's so different from all their other series, maybe because it's a comedy where they took themselves not seriously at all from start to finish and also freed themselves from many elements of wanting to please the audience. Generally, they should avoid anything related to remakes, especially of Japanese ones where the standards are high.

I haven't read the whole comment, was it meant for me? Anyway, I abandoned the series and gave up on it, but I last passed here on the comments, briefly, There are remakes it's better to avoid, especially if it's Japanese, very hard to meet their standards. BUT YOU SHOULD Enjoy the series and ignore others' opinions and what they think and the criticism, just enjoy what suits you, why should you care at all what others think about it, as long as it makes you feel good and it doesn't harm anyone, you can watch in peace.

Yes, the gay friend will remain with his sorrows.
On My Strawberry Film Feb 16, 2024
A great start, but I fear there will be a complete lack of reciprocity. The usual scenario where Chika loves her Ryo, and Hikaru hasn't found himself because he's in love with a fictional character, and Ryo loves him. Only towards the end, Hikaru might realize it and maybe, just maybe, he will understand that he loves Chika. In short, the gay friend will remain with his sorrows.

A robot with emotions means end of days...but something about it (in this series) is rather sweet.
Indeed, there is an apocalyptic theme presented as an extremely silly drama, but it's still fun to watch. However, while watching, thoughts about the future arise, when artificial intelligence understands emotions in a synthetic manner, it could manipulate, but since these aren't truly human emotions that have undergone a long evolutionary process, and the thinking will be drastically different, there will be a gap that cannot be bridged emotionally, ethically, and perhaps even morally.

This is one of the few enjoyable series at the moment, heartwarming, and I just want this series to go on forever. There isn't too much tension between the characters and, in my opinion, Kaneko doesn't portray his character at his best.
He isn't very convincing as a suppressed and confused employee; all his facial expressions are identical in every scene, and his eyes express nothing.
In contrast, Nomura is expressionless and indifferent, but for some unclear reason, perhaps due to the context of the character, he is not charismatic but rather someone who keeps himself detached from any situation to avoid feeling anything. There might be small nuances that illustrate this, and maybe just the scenes are enough to demonstrate it, like when he stood in front of his employer son at the hospital, things like that allow us to connect with him more. However, when the employer abused the character played by Kaneko, I didn't feel anything, and these scenes usually make me connect and empathize with the characters in Japanese series. It seems as if he himself does not understand the situation he is acting in.
