Everyone! Now, this is what we call Undeniable Chemistry 🔥🔥🔥YunLu's hands is another ship! 🤣https://twitter.com/Lubybai/status/1664288438072545282?t=ov5ut4tt8SKqjeN5roRyvw&s=19
They are honestly too cute. Its not only the hands, its the close proximity and eye contacts. They both have very affectionate gazes when they look at each other.
I assume the teacher was analysising TTJ as CJM vs CM. The first aspect would be understanding how the characters upbringing and experience influenced their perspective. I feel TTEOTM explains it well. TTJ was born without emotions, that impaired his ability to relate, connect, and respond in a natural manner to others. His barrier was further amplifed because of his environmental factors, i.e. lack of attachment figure and role models, being bullied, neglected etc. Its important to note, he isn't born evil. But he was perceived as evil because of his lack of emotional attachment and seemingly inappropriate response to social situations. It's sad to think, it isn't through the lack of trying from TTJ'S part. Its the lack of appropriate love and guidance. Prior to recieving love and guidance, TTJ was literally on survival mode. Every actions he made was based on his need to get through the day. Therefore, TTJ didn't care about the world, because he didnt have the luxury to. When TTJ met LXW/LSS, this was the first time when he didnt need to worry about his next meal and getting bullied. LSS was literally his safe haven. LSS acknowledged him as a person, not as the hostage prince. He was slowly able to let down his guard and view the world from a different perspective. This was further enhanced when TTJ went through the Bore Life. From there, TTJ learned to reflect and experience emotions. What is powerful is, he used his own experience to develop empathy for others. He learned to see there are always negatives and positives perspectives. In comparison to CM, he never had the opportunity to experience positive emotions. He was constantly feed negatives emotions from the world. Thats why he can onlt perspecive the world as a terrible place, that is not worthy to exist.
The drama doesn't sugar coat the extreme side of abuse. It has really real characters, who are not perfect. They are all influenced by their emotions depending on the situation and their experiences. That is why the the main leads may seem unstable. Due to the complexity of the story and the more realistic portray of love, I feel some viewers won't like the drama.
Hi guys! Let's do the group rewatch. Feel free to drop your thoughts here anytime. 😊EPISODE: 2
I can't help but think it's a blessing TTJ couldn't feel emotions during his first 20 years of his life. If he had feelings, he would have been so broken mentally and physically.

I can't imagine another actress playing the role of LSS/SJ/LXW. I think the chemistry would be very different.
