I should be sleeping (it’s 2:51 am here) but I have insomnia, so I’m still up. I have to wait until 11:00 am or later for the next episode. But meanwhile, I’m catching up on my Kdramas.

Finally something I can sink my teeth into. Thank you writer gods for giving us a story with emotion, passion & intensity from the get go. I was getting some serious battle fatigue watching half-a$$ boring xianxias that are out recently and this drama has snapped me right out of my melancholy state. Intriguing story, perfectly executed by the FL and all the 3 male leads. And I’m looking at Yang Zi in a different light. Her acting is superb and she is completely immersed in her character. It’s going to be impossible to choose a ML to ship with the FL at this point. Now, what to do until the next episode! 🤪

This drama was wonderfully hilarious & fun! It’s also a rom-com that empowers women with a little bit of social commentary about toxic media and cancel culture. Had to binge watch all 10 episodes in one day. I didn’t want the series to end. All the main leads were excellent & story was entertaining & fluid. The chemistry between Mi Ran & Kang Ho was off the chart. Loved Kim Ok Bin’s fighting scenes & her “heroine” role. Reminded me of Park Bo Young in “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.” This is how rom-com should be done! 💖

Just watched first 2 episodes and I felt same way...personal tragedy, scenic village, eccentric characters, ML who is the village head, etc. It's a great start so far.

Just binged watched all 8 episodes. I literally couldn’t move away from the screen! I’m seeing Song Hye Kyo in a whole new light! Did anyone else catch the old reference in episode 4 where Son Myeong Oh said the phrase, “ All-In” and Moon Dong Eun more or less chuckled. Not sure if it was intentional by the writer but if you are old as I am then you’ll know that one of 1st breakout role for Song Hye Kyo was in the 2003 drama called “All In.” Can’t wait for season 2!!!

I’m usually not into sports/romance genre but this one was well done with interesting characters, storyline/plot & pacing that I didn’t skip at all. Love the ML & the FL & their chemistry was off the chart. We need a season 2!

Awesome start! I don’t have patience for most dramas lately but this one kept me intrigued & on my toes the whole time. Hope this pacing continues… 👍👍

Of course “action” can speak louder than words. And they certainly had some of the most passionate & romantic lines ever spoken in a drama, but I simply just wanted to see more of these two together. Their genuine chemistry & interaction just made me smile silly. 🥰

I was proclaiming my love for this drama in an earlier comment before finishing the last episode and that hasn’t changed, but come on, the main leads deserved a better & longer wrap up then what they got. “I’m back!” That’s it! I guess the LBFaD crew thought the kissing at the end would satisfy and make everything okay, lol!

Oh, my! What a guilty pleasure this has been and I just can’t get enough of it. Wishing for another season. I love this epic romantic drama through and through. Definitely at the top tier of the Xianxia series. Kudos to Dylan Wang and Esther Yu for perfectly bringing and delivering this ethereal love story to life. I’m already having serious withdrawal symptoms. Help!!

Evan Lin is officially my new Chinese ML “crush” lol! Beautiful OST and Evan’s singing voice is so sweet!

Wow! I'm impressed with Lee Do Hyun's acting!

The Scarlet Heart with Cecilia Liu will always have a special place in my heart. Just finished watching it and I couldn't stop crying...It's a bit of an oxymoron, but it's everything I love and hate about melodramas. I first saw this drama a couple years ago, but I actually enjoyed it much better the second time around. <3

So far so good! I really like the ML & FL! And a great comeback role for Kim Bum! The rock and roll look and the vibe is also very appealing!

I'm impressed with Park Bo Gum's acting range.

Loving the chemistry between the ML & FL. Has the sweetest OST. One of my favorite scene is when they spoke Korean to each other. They were so cute & hilarious.
