likeable revenge drama
Have seen Chen Duling in quite a few dramas over the last couple of years, so thought she was going to be relegated to forever being a supporting character. In here she is the female lead and does a pretty good job.
The opening episodes moved along well enough but wasn't sure what this drama was about or which direction it was heading. Wasn't even sure who the villain(s) were in here or why the Zhuang residence was so messed up. Then around the middle episodes it becomes clearer and you start to see where the story is headed. The main villain is particularly nasty and the actor portraying him did a great job, had me fooled until at least episode 17 or 18. Also, liked the fact that they didn't have a lot of filler scenes and ended the drama at 30 episodes. Too many dramas seem to drag on too long.
It is a decent enough revenge drama that will keep you watching to the end.
