One of the Best dramas of the year! Great writing, acting, pacing, and cinematography. Really high quality production. The 3 main leads did a fantastic job! Ren Min shined with a refreshingly realistic FL. 10/10

I agree! The fact that he had Yining beaten and was going to throw her out for simply existing is awful. He had a smug smirk on his face as he got revenge for his wounded pride, sickening! And she (and everyone else) just forgive him and move on? I definitely need to see him get humbled at this point

The premise has so much potential, but for me the whole thing fell apart. The FL is beautiful but very wooden and not a good actress. The The ML was just okay. The villain stole the show as a complex character, would like to see that actor again! The SL's were way too over the top Bonnie and Clyde. What a waste

I enjoy a morally grey ML as long as there is redemption, but how much this one is using and abusing the FL? Letting her suffer horrifically as a tool for his vengeance is completely selfish and despicable. Not sure I can root for a love story with this creep

Anyone know what his next project is? Would love to see him in another historical drama...

It's really good!

This is the first drama in a while to really grab me! Well paced, well acted, good story. Ren Min is beautiful! Love that her character is both fragile and strong. Chemistry between the leads is building which is fun
