She acted without top billing position in The Legend of white snake. When she got popular her agency doing dirty didn’t let her chance to act in her comfort zone. She need to acts support role sometimes to improve acting.
No artists of that agency getting praised because of them. Even Trash Yu Zheng better than them.

Yes, get viewers but can't top 1. Thats the fact. I am not saying he is bad actor. For drama making hit, there need good plot, decent production, direction and promotion. It is A+ budget drama. So, they use popular JJY for promotion. Because they know JJY has big fanbase in China.
Liu Xueyi also has but he still not in Xiao Zhan and Yang Yang level. Didn’t you noticed in trailer they showed Shangguan Zhi evil version more to attract viewers. Because many ppl don’t like her expressive style but they noticed something good from her that's why they also interested on it. ZHHZ is bonus in first episode.
One actor/actress cannot hit whole drama. It is success of entire team.

I am not feminist or misogynist and we women are sometimes worst than men.ML fans are maximum fl. Some his fans are completely blind when his makeup in first 2 episodes has dark circle visible but when it comes to Ju Jingyi she is shit. 😇

For character Hollywood actor and actress loss weight and gain weight . She was healthy in her previous dramas maybe she loss weight for her character.

Ju Jingyi's performance get better in episode 15 compared to recent episodes. I like her in serious moment.

Actually when she was only an idol from 2013-2017. She was doing very well in singing and dancing.She is much more popular as an idol than acting. SNH48 was her strong suitor.
