I think Dilraba should have done a Republican-era drama next, definitely alongside a senior actor--provided she got a good script. Lately, it seems she’s been acting less with senior actors; for a strong script, she shouldn’t focus on billing. Among her upcoming films/dramas, I’m most anticipating Shaolin Woman Soccer. I also liked the trailer of the mini drama. And in Winds Beyond the Wall, it seems she has played a guest role.
And sadly, Shaolin Woman Soccer still hasn’t officially announced the cast names, and it’s uncertain whether she actually acted in Winds Beyond The Wall at all.

I think Ju Jingyi should act in a modern drama. The last modern drama she starred in, Love Under the Full Moon, was also in the fantasy genre. It feels like she has only acted in one purely modern drama in her career, while most of her other works are costume or Republican-era dramas.
“Love Under the Full Moon” was modern/fantasy, and after that she hasn’t done any modern drama for about five years. After “Cheating Men Must Die,” I hope she will take on a modern drama.
I would be really happy if she works in a slice-of-life and romance-type drama.

I’m not one of his haters. But instead of acting in costume/xianxia dramas every year over and over again, wouldn’t it be better to take some time and choose better scripts? Rather than picking the same kind of scripts, shouldn’t he try acting in more diverse roles?

I saw it on iQiyi—the title is still in Chinese, written as Sui Ran Bu Neng Tong Shi Yong You Yi Qie (Chinese letter) and it doesn’t say A Duet in Blue there.

I don’t think she would create issues over billing, maybe her agency is handling the negotiations. And she’s not as bad as she’s being portrayed. The real issue is that the production company is taking advantage because of Xu Kai’s Xu Lisha incident. I’m not saying this just because it’s a female-centric drama–this kind of story is something iQIYI often does.

Maybe there is a problem. But if the drama does well, then it is solved. Many times, the original novel is not kept because everyone knows the plot, maybe it is a budget issue. Xu Kai usually acts in female-centric dramas, so if he doesn't feel the inconvenience, it is okay.

I said younger that's mean 95 line & below. Zhou Ye not consider traffic but she is a good actress. Zhou Ye is a golden rooster nominee actress (Most prestigious film award in China) and Beijing Film Academy graduate. She is just not traffic but she fine actress.

More importantly, both In Blossom and VOS had to compete with dramas from other platforms. When In Blossom was released, Tencent’s Legend of Shen Li and an iQIYI drama starring Ren Jialun were also being released. VOS is also clashing with dramas from Tencent and iQIYI. That’s why it’s performing quite well. Although many Youku dramas reach 10k, most of them don’t face this level of competition.

This is 30 episode drama not 40 episode drama. How you sure he won't get screen time. You're demotivating others to not watch this drama. This drama has enough chance to be hit because casting selection good. Zhao Ye is the best actress among all the younger actresses Xu Kai has acted with. She has a good film career but is relatively not too old to drama.

This drama based on female centric novel. But I think you are wrong, trailer full of Zhou Ye & Xu Kai. So, maybe he will receive proper screen time. Some people spreading rumors here.

When one platform announces the release of a drama, another one follows right after. There’s no need to rush and release everything at once. Moreover, this year iQiyi has some very good dramas under its lineup. If they wanted, they could even release it next year, but TEF license will expire, so they could release it at that time instead.

I think Youku will release it if it gets a good timeslot. And now Ju Jingyi and Song Weilong's last drama is a hit. Youku can release it at the right time.

Legend of Yunxi dark horse drama iQiyi in 2018. At that time there was no heat index system else all of her drama reach heat index 10k. Ju Jingyi won the Best Actress (Web Series) award at the 1st Annual China Canada Television Festival Award in 2019 for Legend Of Yunxi.

Tencent and iQiyi air two three drama at the same time. But for potential star they consider time slot. Heat index manipulated by platform specially Tencent and iQiyi do it more for their favourite. Youku air 1 drama in a month so they've no option..
