I don't even know why I am still talking under this drama when it's in my not-interested list, but then again there is a reason why people are crazy about badguy-goodgirl, playboy-innocentgirl, enemies -> lovers bla bla bla tropes. Twilight is toxic, but bet 5/6 girls were crazy about Edward, lol.
Also my main point was if someone don't like her work, stop watching it. Because from the looks of it she is not changing her way, and practically it's her story, her brain, her pen, she does whatever she wants, it's upto us to watch or not, but look, all her series are major hit.


Also you can't change human brains and you are no one to tell them what they should watch, or what type of entertainment they should opt for. Change starts with you, so IDK why you're here.

I never said it's acceptable but it's not rare. That's all I can say. Everybody goes through some toxic thing or the other, and if one never does, then they are the luckiest alive. And no all those who like their work are not toxic, you can't go around judging people from what they watch.

Haha thanks, I think people are not reading between the lines for this series. That's why all those philosophical dialogues are turning out of context to them. It's a bit complicated anyway. But let's enjoy what we are enjoying, let others enjoy what they are enjoying.

The pacing is fast, I agree. But why she jumped in, like she said she's bound to die, she'll die in 3 months, so basically when a danger came she jumped in thinking that either way she can't feel pain and she's gonna die.

And about falling off, she promptly, in that episode itself caught the loophole in the contract. She knew that she's the only one who wished the doom to the world at the time of dying star or whatever and she knew the loophole. Because MM wants to bring doom to the world, or want to kill himself, so he has to cling on to her. And his desperateness of making her tell the wish made it quite obvious to DK that he can't do without her. But yeah I agree that things are a bit fast paced, and i think it's because they are trying to fit in a lot of things into 16ep, but let's see.

Also this whole liking disliking depends on taste, so I have nothing to say.

It's not here, but in some streaming sites people are disappointed with it and constantly telling hoe other currently airing shows are great in comparison to this.

I get that the relationship started out as being forced, but after 3 ep their relation was okay for me. And that's the plot. You can't expect Doom, who had no human contact, emotion, attachment of any sort to any living being, who never cracked a joke with a person, who never laughed with any one, void of basic emotions; to grow some attachment towards the FL. She's the only person who he knows apart from the god.
About the FL, it's shown from the very beginning that she's somewhat an innocent, always doing the best for the other person kind of character. She even took his boyfriends wife who slut shamed her in front of a whole cafe to the doctor. So her taking a knife for a person she knows is not that far fetched.
And about falling off, it was just to show that Doom can't bring doom to the world without her, he needs her just as much as she needs him for her survival.

And MM is trying to kill himself, that's my theory. He doesn't wanna be alive. That's why he is like love me. Because invariably the person who she loves the most will die. She wants to love him because she has many people in this world whom she loves, and that's why she can't wish to bring doom to the world. So if she doesn't wish, then her brother will die, because she loves him the most as of now. So she's trying to love MM instead so that none of the people she actually cares about dies, because she knows MM for few days now and she doesn't care if he lives or dies.

And the kiss, I feel like it's just sexual attraction, it's rare to see people kissing out of sexual attraction in kdrama, but it's nothing unusual in real life.

I don't know maybe it's just how I am but I am not finding the script boring. The story is an onion, and with each layer undone comes tears and pain.
The only thing from the plot we know so far is that someone has to die for the other to live. And honestly, everything else is a mystery. You can't actually think that almost everything will be revealed in the 6 eps.
I don't know why people are calling this budget "Goblin", but people need to know that a drama doesn't need to be too flashy on the face. The last time I checked, I enjoyed the original un-flashy Japanese Boys Over Flower more than the one with Lee Min Ho.
But then again personal preference. But people need to stop comparing series which are totally incomparable and enjoy what is served. Comparing this to YOM or to Goblin makes no sense.

Someone tell me, is this series worth it? Contemplating whether to watch or not.

Okay so we can't blame anyone. Oh-aew is miserable because he is feeling out of the place and he's not even getting to see his boyfriend. Teh is chasing his dreams and honestly, we can't blame him for his work. But he could've just taken the weekends off once in a while and gave time to his relationship.
And Aew can just nag a bit for attention, a little won't hurt. They both are trying but it's not happening. It's gonna be sad sad T_T

And well I hardly respond to anything, and just like you, almost all the comments I see about Mame are negative, that's why I made a point. I do agree with your perspective too, one single thing can effect someone positively/negatively. Hope Mame tries to right the wrongs.
And I loved lbc and TharnType both, and I fairly know where the problem lies, and obviously I don't like those scenes.

Yeah i get your point. But we all are criticizing her, aren't we? We all know what the problem is. Do you think the people who all commented below saying some things regarding them not watching cuz of Mame will not watch it? Yeah some of them won't,but I am very sure some of them will.
What I am saying is that people should know what they are getting into, this is BL category, not LGBTQ+, so there will be some problematic things whether you like it or not. Yeah it'll be criticized like it should, but I made the comment because all these comments are negativity affecting the actors too. And just like I said, it's her work, you can't do anything about it except criticizing it. Because at the end if the day it's her brain and her pen. And again just like I said, criticize eer, then check her next work, if she doesn't change again, criticize her and drop her out of your life. If I don't like an artist, I try their new things, if I still don't like, I criticize again and drop them and don't check their stuff for years until it suddenly pops into my feed again. It makes no sense to keep on checking in with the work of an artist who you don't even like, just to criticize her.

Anyway let's park it here. No point in discussing, she'll write what she wants, people will criticize however they want, those who likes it will watch it, those who don't they'll skip. No point in messing our head due to this.

I don't think you read yaoi manga or BL mahwas much. This is a BL story, Mame is a BL writer. You can't expect it to not have cliche BL tropes. But yeah I agree she does go overboard with rapes. Like the first comment in this section says, if you want real and deep stuff then go for LGBTQ+ content or shounen AI, not BL. I have been watching BL's for years now and reading mangas/manhwas, but honestly, I haven't found anything which is great to read/watch but isn't problematic(except some). Also the main big house of thai BL, GMMTV, they do make unproblematic series, but well none of them have epic storyline(except some)

Also, you said " people don't care that what's depicted is wrong, they will watch it anyway.", yes people don't care because people are just watching content, they are not following it. They know what is right and what is wrong and they have the sense to differentiate btw them. Then they also should stop making main characters killers too, because morally wrong but they make it look permissible. But nobody talks about that, because they know it's just a story. People should stop taking everything too literally. Other things Mame wrote are permissible, except the rapes, because well there is worst out there.
