Ah, Kang Hoon. He was Yeobeen’s co-actor in A Time Called You.
Ah, I understand that. 😄 ATCY confused many. It was kinda cute though. YB was brilliant in her portrayal of both the characters. Ah, I didn’t finish Dear Hyeri when I realised Kang Hoon won’t be the one she’d choose. I kept watching for his character and Hyeri’s shenanigans, but had to drop it during the last few episodes.
Everything I felt watching the finale has bewn written about you folks, more or less. I’m just grateful we all watched it together. We felt it all together. There’s a sense of relief I felt despite anticipating that I may not take the ending well, but it was well executed.
The acoustic version of MiMi, you guys??? Nothing short of magical. This will be on repeat for a few weeks in my playlist now. 😄
And, I’m also grateful to everyone I’ve interacted with here. Lots of love to you people! Love to see you all putting in efforts here. And let’s hope for the ratings to go up, because it surely deserves a lot more. 😃
I'm not ready to say goodbye. This drama touched my heart deeply. Beautifully made with a wonderful cast. Melodramas…
☹️☹️🫂Too bad it’s coming to an end already. Haven’t felt that a drama was too short in a long time. Let’s hope for a good ending. Good thing it has a high rewatch value atleast.
How exactly is it a flop? lol. It’s a good drama. very well made. Do we really need to talk about how some dramas…
Oh yes, I’ve actually been looking forward to her works ever since I watched Be Melodramatic. None could’ve pulled that off as well as her. So when I heard two of the actors I respected were collaborating last year, I started waiting for this work. And luckily, the result of their hard work didn’t disappoint. It’s giving all the feels I’d expected from it.

Yes, it is both fresh and rich in that sense. Very thoughtfully written. The acting by the main leads couldn’t be more perfect. They really made both the characters come to life such that they feel real. And not everyone can do that successfully. Both of them deserve the credit. It comes across as both slice-of-life and melodrama.
How exactly is it a flop? lol. It’s a good drama. very well made. Do we really need to talk about how some dramas with top viewership lacked substance? I personally found it difficult to get through QoT. And I rarely miss a Jung Hae In drama, but I had to drop LND. Our Movie has quite a hold on its viewers, and despite such a tough subject matter, knowing how it ends, they’re sticking through, because it has the substance. Technically, the drama’s quite experimental, too. There’s reflections of some elements of the French New Wave cinema. There’s other little things like posters of some of the best films from around the world in the cafe they go to frequently - I mean, a cinephile would definitely like this drama. I’d understand you posting such a comment if your intentions were to ridicule the work or the actors out of a personal grudge or something, otherwise it makes no sense that someone would make such a comment. This is definitely one of the best in the Kdrama world. Also, it can’t be helped if people of this market driven world need constant dopamine. That’s not how the world works, and that’s usually a bad sign. There’s got to be some grounding. This drama is exactly the grounding we need. This hits like My Liberation Notes.
Tell me I’m not alone and you guys want DaEum to LIVE too. This is a first for me actually. In most melodramas…
i watched the episode hours ago and there’s still this weird sensation in me- such emptiness! Daeum deserves to live. she deserves happiness. It hurts physically at this point.
Quiz #10: While Episode 9 is still fresh in your mind:Which scene did you find the funniest?Which scene was the…
the scene where he imagines himself acting along with daeum instead of the mainlead- you know drying laundry and sleeping next to her- just living their day ordinarily, that was the most heartbreaking part for me. sure, he’s as delusional as us, there’s no doubt in that.
This drama literally plays with emotions. After episode 9, i'm speechless. don't know what to expect knowing that…
it’s like there’s a lump inside my throat. it’s hard to talk about. it’s sad, and yet those two and their love- it’s so beautiful. 🥺do we really need a realistic ending now? 😭 i’ll be okay if they give me something over the top and save daeum. atleast, they can be together for long that way. 😭
Everything’s so beautiful about the show. The episode was good. The preview for the next day…. well…. Am I the only one feeling this emptiness? Like, we’re parting with Daeum and Jeha? Already? 🥺🙁
Like literally everyone is going to find out about DaEum’s illness now?And she and jeha’s being in love and…
my gut tells me Jeha’s going to be firm in his decision to give Daeum all the love he can. I don’t think he’s going to back off now. He made it clear to Seoyoung that he doesn’t care what will happen to him but he’ll make this movie with Daeum. Coming week’s episodes may have the revelation scenes. It is highly likely. I hope they can be together through it all.
Ahhhh! I don’t want them to part for a moment now on. 😭
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Can’t we only focus on enjoying the 8th episode for sometime? Let’s stay delusional…
Oh, I totally feel you. 🥹❤️ Both the kissing scenes in this show have been amazing and our hearts to another dimension. I rewatched the whole episode today so I can first experience the sorrow, the angst, and the whole buildup leading to that last scene. 😭You know, I’d actually spent a great deal of time analysing their first kissing scene because I just could not figure Jeha out there. He went all in, but I simply could not figure what exactly was his intention there, and as I’d suspected he dismissed it as practice, lol. But again, his facial expressions over the next few episodes were kinda difficult to figure. (NKM is a genius, and there’s no doubt in it when you see how high the walls that Jeha has built around himself are 😭) And in the 8th episode, he’s given up fighting his feelings, so we see him smiling while driving her around. And hence we see a much softer Jeha in the second kissing scene. 🥰 I was desperately waiting to see what soft Jeha looks like. You’re soooo right! It is indeed one of the most beautiful kissing scenes.
Also, that scene when she asks him to wait for her at the hospital? 🥹 They’re dating before officially dating. 😭
Same! Jeha can be expected to be more protective of Daeum. Or who knows, one can only wish! 😭
IKR! It’s too short. Also, you watch an hour long episode and it feels as if only 10 minutes went by. 😭 JYB and NKM’s chemistry deserves a lot more screen time.
Honestly love your take about seo yeong. Tho I still don't like her.
it feels like Seoyoung’s acting more out of her insecurity that jeha’s into daeum than all these valid concerns about her career. i mean hence, the rudeness towards daeum. not once but twice in this episode. because jeha seems to have the upper hand in the seoyoung-jeha dynamic, so she’s bullying daeum here.
i liked her the last week. we’ll know with time what direction her character chooses.
