And exactly like what you said, we haven't got to that episode yet, so we can't know how's it going towards to. Also, in the opening, we see that ZZS is going to be wearing WKX's hairpin, which symbolizes that he's taken. So let's just be patient.

I have a question. Other than Ye Bai Yi, who else is/are more powerful than Zhou Zi Shu and Wen Ke Xing? I only know that Ye Bai Yi is 100% times powerful than either of them, but who else is there that are more powerful than them?

Yeah, after I watched episode 22, I kind of figured already that, that must have been the time when he figured out. But hold on, did Shen Shen know about ZZS's real identity and name? I hope not. But how did the righteous sects know about WKX's true identity. The only person that the Scorpion King told about WKX's true identity is Zhao Jing, so how did the others find out?

You know what, I take back my words after rewatching the series. About their powers, I would say their powers are equal. They both have equal powers in their status and skills. One murder, the other assassinates, so they're equal.

I'll give you a small spoiler. They definitely knew each other since their childhood, and the two went through life and death together. The two little boys you see throwing rocks in the water are them. I'm on Chapter 27, but they haven't talked about their pasts yet. You will know how they met and his story in the series, it's a bit more insightful than the novel. A little note, WKX's deep hatred towards the righteous and evil ghost sects comes from what happened to him after his parents died, and after he and ZZS had to separate from each other. But after going through life and death with ZZS since that childhood, ZZS began to lives a part of his mind until he meets him again in ZZS's disguised. ZZS became his light since then, but unfortunately, he realized he meets him too late.

Yes, it's getting there :) After watching episode 21 preview, I see we are getting to see WKX's backstory of how he became the Master of Ghost Valley. So it's actually something more than him getting revenge for his parents. It's because of what happened after that. But yes, like you said, ZZS is WKX's only shot at redemption.

Wen Ke Xing is a naive of cruelty. He is seeking revenge on basically both the righteous and the evil ghost sects, his main plan is to swipe out all of the martial arts world and the evils. He is the one who stirs all the troubles by gathering the Glazed Armor over the place, given by Zhou Zi Shu, to have those so-called "righteous" sects fight over it, along with the evil ghosts sect. From deep, deep down, Wen Ke Xing is a good person and has morality, he's not bloodthirsty, ZZS was even colder than he is eventually. Because of his parent's death when he was 9 years old, he decided to do everything to master his martial arts and decided to join the Ghost Valley and he ended up being the Master of that sect. So since he's been living in this Ghost Valley, and done many evil things, it made him almost becoming like those evil ghosts that it devoured him. He murdered so many lives that it became normal to him now. So yeah, his agenda is revenge.

Is he more powerful than Zhou Zi Shu?
I would say yes and no. Zhou Zi Shu is really powerful and skillful in martial arts and assassination. Wen Ke Xing is at the same level as him, just slightly bit more powerful as his martial arts is complex and changes constantly as if he had more than one master.

Is he in love with Zhou Zi Shu?
It's more than that. It's a deeper feeling of Wen Ke Xing having towards Zhou Zi Shu. They have a deep connection, it's a connection that makes WKX wants to find out who really is the man behind the mask disguised after he saw ZZS in disguised dodging his maidservant, Gu Xiang's weapon. ZZS's moves made him curious, so he decided to stalk (cross that) following him around (leading to ZZS's annoyance). It makes him want to know more about the man under that skin mask. Then the episode of the hallucination, WKX calls out ZZS's real name, explanation; ZZS gives his fake name to others, despite his last name, Zhou Xu, so when WKX calls him, "Zhou Zi Shu", it surprised him cause he never said that name to anyone including Wen Ke Xing, so how did he know? Episode 6 is the answer, once ZZS revealed his true face underwater, WKX realized that this man really is Zhou Zi Shu as he mumbled and gives a fond smile to himself. So it made me feel that he probably knew ZZS when they were little, so it's evident that his past with ZZS must have been something meaningful to him that makes ZZS lives a part of his mind before his nightmare began (his parent's death and he became the Ghost Lord in Ghost Valley). Basically, ZZS is like the light of his darkness, he makes him feel human, that's why ZZS holds a very special place in WKX's mind and soul. You can say they are soulmates.

Both of the male leads fit the villain archetypes because one is dark, the other is the darkness of the soul. They both do and have done many evil things, but one of them is trying to redeem himself for freedom. I feel this is also probably why WKX gets so determined and attracted to ZZS.

If you watch episode 6, after ZZS took off his mask underwater, the surprise and realization came upon WKX's face. Then when WKX was asked to catch a rabbit or something for him to eat, while ZZS was trying to open the little box thingy, WKX turned around and briefly looked at ZZS, right there, he finally realized that was really Zhou Zi Shu, then a soft and fond smile plastered on WKX's face. So I really think they knew each other since young, and his past with ZZS must really trace something meaningful in his mind and heart that made him know how ZZS looks after growing up. ZZS doesn't remember WKX.

LOL I'm on Chapter 26 so far, and I kind of don't understand. In chapter 23, ZZS abruptly threw his mask away in the way, right? If so, why did WKX say to ZZS, "A-Xu, I just realized even though you may not be beautiful.." in the next chapter" Does that mean ZZS still wears a mask? And what episode is this?

I was referring to where they are walking on this bridge, then fell in the cave where they were fighting with the Drug Men. Then ZZS and WKX rolled over into the tunnel then suddenly landed into plain green land. Then they went back to Siji Mountain and met ZZS's master in the cave where he's now a dead living. You haven't seen the previews yet?

We don't know yet, probably around episodes 25-30, I guess. And we still need to know when ZZS goes back to Window of Heaven, that table turned scene, the scene that ZZS hit Jin-wang, and him getting abducted there. Also, the scene that's not shown in the opening nor the ending songs, WKX wearing red, which means he already revealed himself, while rescuing ZZS.
