I totally agree with everything you wrote here ^^ Zhou Zi Shu is the type of person who doesn't like verbal comforts, rather he'd have non-verbal and uses action for comforts. Touches and no-verbal comfort are the way to show that you are really staying by their side genuinely, and not only using words without actions. Words can deceive you, which I'm sure ZZS went through before, having people deceiving him, coaxing him, masking in front of him, his whole life, that's why actions are more for what he needs to know that this person understands him and will not leave his side again. WKX learn things quickly and I love that <3

And WKX giving ZZS his hairpin, and it is not any random, it's the hairpin he wears since he was a kid, and him giving that hairpin to ZZS holds so much meaning to it. It's like a vow, a promise, a commitment of life, and a token of love from WKX giving to ZZS. And you can say, it's also an engagement.

As that person said, he's human and the ghosts are also not real ghosts. Ghost Valley is just a name for people who has no places to gather, you can see it's for evil people. However, you can clearly see who are the real evils in the series, right? The people in Ghost Valley are tagged as evil people, but the ones who skinned themselves as humans are the truly evil ones, which are the Five Lake Alliance clans. It was part of WKX's plan to have Cheng Ling shoot him. WKX and the Scorpion King also co-operate with each other to trick Zhao Jing. Scorpion Kin betrayed Zhao Jing after he sees the true face of Zhao Jing, that's why he agreed to WKX's plan. I'm not sure about Ye Bai Yi if he knows or not, but judging about WKX's micro-expression when he arrived seems like a plan as well. The only ones who don't know anything were Zhou Zi Shu and Zhao Jing. I can see all along that this was all a plan lol Don't overlook by their actions.

Wen Ke Xing finally refers to himself as the 2nd disciple of the Four Seasons sect, and aww..ZZS teared up because it's his first time seeing WKX accepting himself as the Four Seasons Manor disciple :') And ooohhh, those people who be invading the Ghost Valley for the Grazed Armor will be dead by them. I'm so excited :D

Our two main leads are not villains, though they fit in the villain archetype, but they are actually more anti-heroes. Circumstances forced them to become what they are as you see. One person was powerless and helpless in his childhood, he had to carry 81 people in his annihilated sect, Four Seasons Manor, to Prince Jin that his family had served from generation to generation. Then he founded this secret, assassination/spy organization and decided to join it. He didn't expect that he had to kill his own people, and was forced to become a slave to power, because of that, his regrets became insoluble, that's why he wants to be free from that torture to become a free-willed wanderer for the amount of time he have left. But god changed his destiny to meet our other main lead, Wen Ke Xing, and the orphan young master, Zhang Cheng Ling, that's how he got embroiled in the martial arts world. This man, I would say, is a 2000 shades of grey. He has many layers in him that needed to be laid out, as time goes by, you will see the changes, not completely changed, but he became more open, happy, and free.

As for our other main lead, Wen Ke Xing, he is considered to be naivety of cruel because, after his parent's death, he was forced to become what he most hated to become, which is a ghost valley master. It's a sect full of evils who are fighting and killing each other to survive. Because of that, he's got used to all these things that it became normal to be in murdering people. However, he does not kill innocent people, but once it involved those people, he would regret and grief for that action of his. His true motive is to revenge for his parent's death and what made him become what he's become now. He wants to clear out those hypocrites, the so-called "righteous" sects to show the world their true colors. Deep down, he is a good person. His personality is a child-like, straightforward, and honest person, and he is quite cultured as he keeps reciting his poem and stuff haha

The main point of this drama is to show the hypocrisy in who/what is perceived as "righteous" and "villainous". The main point about our main leads is how they found redemption in each other, how they help each other throughout the journey of their wandering in the world. I want to tell you that the evil sects like Ghost Valley, Window of Heaven, and Scorpions, these sects do many, many evil things that are considered to be villains, however, these sects can be known to be the most righteous ones, while the Five Lake Alliance, which are the sects that are claimed as "righteous" are actually the evilest, most despicable ones.

Yup, in the drama, it will be a the big witch, as they mentioned in episode 27 or 28.

Yes, true. I just found out just after reading the translation of episode 28 preview of Han Ying's part, talking about Grandpa Zhou died suddenly in the hands of Jin-wang. And here I thought ZZS didn't have his family left. There's going to be bad blood between them. I can't wait to see Zhou Zi Shu going back to Tian Chuang to get revenge lol And you are right, we actually haven't dived into his backstory yet, while we know about WKX's backstory already. Though WKX's character in early episodes may be mysterious, ZZS's story is more mysterious than his.

We know that he is a current and last Master of Four Seasons Manor, and a former and founder of Tian Chuang. We know that after Four Seasons Manor has been faded into the unknown, Zhou Zi Shu led the rest of Four Seasons Manor's 81 disciples to Jin-wang's palace, the place where Zhou family served over generations, then founded Tian Chuang. But he felt helpless as the disciples died one by one, now left with only him surviving. We never knew that ZZS still has his family alive until Han Ying mentioned that his grandpa suddenly died. So there must be more of his backstory that we don't know.

And yes, ZZS really is a very dark character just as dark as WKX, that I don't even know who's darker than who. But then, when they're with each other, they began to see light in one each other. They are the lights of each other's lives :)

To be honest, ZZS hides his dark identity better than anyone. How will it turn out if those "righteous" sects know that he was the leader of Tian Chuang? Will they also want to kill him just like they want to kill WKX?

I think you should watch this video from AvenueX because her explanation throughout the episodes is excellent. It all makes sense as to why it turns out to be like how it is in the present episodes. She explains her understanding of the purpose of the drama's writer. Then you can decide whether you see the same thing or not.

Exactly. Nothing has changed between them. And ZZS was already opened up to WKX since episode 11, then his unravelling character is in incremental as the episode progresses. He's become more open and free, and is exchanging flirting with WKX. So it doesn't have to do anything with them being shidi or not. It's the develop of their relationship.
