The plot seems so out of reality and so little Korean that one realizes that's another netflix production even without knowing it. Every time we watch a series whose story could be placed in every country, in every culture, in every reality of the world, so it's a netflix production. Fact.
"""The Scandal is an adaptation of French writer Pierre Choderlos de Laclos' 1782 novel "Dangerous Liaisons", reimagined in the Joseon era."""
Oh, my God, how can it be that a k-drama in the JOSEON ERA is actually a FRENCH book adaptation??? So netflix! It's like watching an African series based on a Jewish cartoon!
Please, Korean actors, be Korean as you've always been! There's nothing wrong in praising your own culture.
Another netflix therapeutic series trying to make insanity and cognitive dysfunctions seem normal and cool. And certainly it will be another huge netflix success according to... netflix!
When he had problems with the justice for doing drugs, some Western demented people said that this would ruin his career. Well, I think it was quite the opposite. Thanks Korean Justice for making this great actor come back to the right side!
I still don't get what Catholicism has to do with the story or in what level it intensifies the characters' conflict. Everywhere in the world gays are now getting married in catholic churches, something that even the media has openly been showing. Catholicism, reading the Gospels or even becoming a priest or a nun is not mandatory for anyone. It was back in the Middle Ages. It feels like Thai gay series is getting lazy lately and/or their producers are lacking creativity. Let's PRAY for something better.
"Korean viewers complained"??? Oh, come on! We all know that every single so-called "controversy" is plot by the media owners to destroy popular contents in order to achieve some financial goal. Spare us.
Nothing good comes from netflix, and nothing Korean either. The focus here will not be the Korean educational system, which is going very fine, but the fact that their system has not been "americanized" enough.

OH-MY-GOSH-!
Well, at least it's not another netflix garbage,
And by this statement only we immediately realize that KAHM is funded by Western money -- and probably Israeli (dirty) money, too.
No way an Eastern country would believe that ART interferes in REALITY!
