i think Qi Haoyu is a smarter version of the rat. the rat cut every contact with Qinland after their movie was over and his career went down the drain, while Haoyu looks like he's trying to work his way into Han Lu's agency and to stay relevant (he leaked the kissing video). one of the themes is definitely the toxic entertainment industry and fandom and the toll it takes on actors personal lives
