I think this drama is demonstrating how 2 people can be right for each, but never on the same page because of miss or lack of communication. They both showed signs of having walls built. As an actor they don't get to choose the approach, this is all up to the director, writers, and screenplay writers.

Sometimes it doesn't come down to choice but what opportunities are available. Additionally, it seems that people are seeking to work with him on multiple projects because of his easy going personality. Theae dramas arent even shown in the sequence in which they were filmed.
I don't find any of his lead characters to be the same.
And the dynamics with his FL have always been believable.
I think P&C and UL are his top performances and he can outperform most other male leads including those who went to college for drama.
