This drama truly rates in the top 5 for sweet unpretentious stories. I've watched this series twice already and when it was airing I watched some epis twice while waiting for the next week's shows. It's that good! lol I appreciated this version more so than the original because of the modernization between the story lines. The older version catered to the old mindset of parent knows best and can only make decisions for the children which in it self made the lead actors seem weak and sophomoric as if unable to function as mature able minded adults... This version's personality development is the complete and refreshing opposite of the original. The intellectual strength/will and underplayed seductive femininity of the lead actress and the well balanced machismo and protective alpha maleness of the lead actor's performances of push and pull vulnerabilities were perfectly matched. The combination was fire and subsequently made their interactions that much more believable. The entire cast of actors were spot on with their acting and everyone seemed to mesh perfectly and put the icing on the cake. Another plus for the drama is that the leads shared a chemistry that made it obvious and highly plausible something was going on off-screen...If there wasn't then there should have been! lol This version again, was produced for the mature minded audience who understands the push and pull between couples where ultimately there is no winner of the normal squabbles between couples but a mutual compromise of love and understanding. Highly recommend to watch if you're up for an Excellently written production of smiles and feels! Kudos to the writer(s), producer(s) and director for excellent casting and job well done.
