I’m at ep 4 now and so far so good 😊. I’ll watched it till the last episode. I like both zlh and bai lu as well as the other cast anyway 😊

one of the best wuxia dramas I’ve watched. The chemistry between the lead couple is indeed palpable. The story is great and well acted by the cast specially the main couple. Such a fun interpretation of Reincarnation and time travel and an intense love. The sound tracks are fantastic too. The ending is quite acceptable to me though it’s a bit too rushed. Arthur Chen proved how good an actor he is once again. 11/10 💖💖💖💖💖

I read an article a few days ago that Xu Kai and his agency’s negotiation of his contract renewal failed. It seems like he didn’t want to renew his contract with his current agency and that it will expire exactly a year after that negotiation day which happened in August. It’s so suspicious that the malicious prank by the ex-gf was posted just the day after that failed negotiation.

Wang Xing Yue must have been very young when he filmed this drama as he is just 23 yo rn when this drama was launched way back in 2021.

I’ve put off watching this drama and reading ther reviews made me want to totally skip watching this.

Done watching this drama finally and what a story. The actors are good specially the male lead. He can evoke emotions with a deadpan face while he was talking to the female lead and that is because of his acting together with an exceptional script. The progression of the story was done well and though the sound tracks were not that remarkable, they still contributed to the success of the drama. This is one of the most well done drama I’ve watched specially of the period dramas because though the including the battle scenes too were not so grand, for some reason, every aspect of the drama from the storyline to the acting of the actors, costumes and the sound tracks made this drama a very outstanding drama. I’d give it 11/10 just because of this. 💖💖💖💖💖💖

After the Prisoner of Beauty, I don’t think I’ll watch this soon. Maybe in a year or two and that’s because it is starred by Liu Yu Ning.

Liu Yu Ning had sung more than 30 OSTs already based from his Dramawiki. Some years he sang around 8-10 OSTs in a year alone. I first heard his voice in the OSTs of more than 200 chi dramas I’ve now watched so far and then I read an article about him not handsome enough to star in a lead role and so I got curious about his dramas and he acted so well in the POB with Song Zu Er. Their chemistry was so great and he looks ok to act in a lead role contrary to what some netizens were commenting about his looks.

There is this FB post just a few hours ago wherein it stated that Xu Kai was removed from this drama because of his supposedly gambling issues.

I’m now at ep 17 where Miangtang learned about her past and she was asking Cui Jiu about their past in the capital. There was no hysterical scenes and I think instead of him telling about their nonexistent past, he was envisioning a scene in their future when they grow older…. Simple as that scene was, the emotions being evoked by that scene is again making me tear up…. I totally admire the scriptwriters and the actors for creating these scenes. Totally genius!!!
